‘Suicide Squad’: Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman on Reshoots, Jared Leto’s Rat, and David Ayer

Just before the Warner Bros. presentation at CinemaCon, the studio trotted out a massive number of stars on its red carpet, including the entire cast of Suicide Squad. Collider’s own Steve Weintraub was onhand and able to snag interviews with a number of those present, including Will Smith and director David Ayer, but the most enjoyable conversation came from the very lively duo of Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman.
The conversation veered off into a number of directions, from on-set camaraderie to Jared Leto’s eccentric gifts, but Courtney started out by addressing the reshoot rumors:
“We went and just jammed some crazy new action shit. I wish I could tell you more about that, I can’t, but that’s all we’re up to.”
While he was tight-lipped about the additional footage, Courtney and Kinnaman both had high praise for their director, David Ayer, and his process:

+MasterDana96 "Sad Affleck" was a youtube video teasing Ben Affleck when bad reviews came out for the Batman v Superman movie. I was saying this actor who worked on a movie related to that movie had no hard feelings about it and is cool for taking it as a joke
Joel Kinnaman is fine fellow swedish actor. So glad that he still is a humble swedish guy. And drunk. :D
Joel's immitation of Jai's accent was spot on! The TMNT reference from Jai was also hilarious. These two are obviously great buddies, i really hope they do a sequel so they can work together again at some point!

I'd pay to see just these two in a David Ayer written and directed action dramedy. If half of this energy is in the SS film then I'm in for a treat.
I love the dynamic this cast has! If we see half of this on screen, this movie will be epic. I'm SO looking forward to Suicide Squad!!

For some reason, the audio was shit when I listened to it through the speakers of my phone, but when I connected my earphones, the audio worked like it was supposed to, that's weird.
Im not Jai's biggest fan (I did love him in Spartacus though), but I cannot wait to see him in Suicide Squad.
