My only hope is that it doesn't cause unnecessary drama when they take unexpected breaks. We in the west are entirely fine with it, but expectations over in the east are pretty different... But at the same time, I guess Suisei already tempered her fans' expectations when she decided to speak in her natural voice and the first time she took such a break. Hopefully other girls can also do this in the future. They need such a break!

Now this is a certified Hoshimachi moment. I'm glad she took that 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙙 break.

So from what we've learned about Anemachi over the years she's: - super-pretty - super-introverted - very caring - very devious planner - brings rain wherever she goes

Her taking a break just because she felt like it is honestly the best reason she could give. Also it got us a highly entertaining story about her and Anemachi having fun planning a dramatic entrance.

I'm happy Sui-chan can take a break whenever she feels she needs it; sometimes stopping to just do nothing and refresh for a bit is more important than actually working. Plus, even if we didn't get much of Sui-chan these past few weeks, we got this hilarious story !

@@invalleria Because she said her room already 'renovated' as a walking closet while her sister still exist. It's a quite common occurence in Asian household if the room can still be used by the owner, she stays there. One thing for sure is Sui-chan is almost never home from: 1. her room is gone 2. she really wants to go home Hence my question whether she isn't live with her sister anymore.... Not to mention suddenly her sister's almost non-existence in Sui-chan's stream.

I love the way Suisei speaks. Not knowing Japanese I can’t say if it’s just her or maybe where in Japan she grew up but she just has a rhythm and cadence to her speech that I don’t hear in the other Hololive girls that I hear speak regularly. Maybe the closest to it would be Marine…but I’m not sure. Regardless, something about it is just very appealing to the ear.

While it's not as 'exciting' as anemachi would've done, I'm glad it worked out very good that they were able to surprise their mom with it.
