Not true, 2pac was going to join Death Row back in 1992, but he started catching charge after charge, he's in the Natural Born Killaz video, he was dealing with them way back then, Death Row did the Above The Rim Soundtrack, Pac is on there a couple of times.

Since Pac died and became this mythical figure, everyone wants to take credit for making moves to get him out of jail. The truth is Suge looked out for him in ‘94 when he was facing “crazy legal problems” and Suge pushed the line to get him out of the belly of the beast. Pac truly felt Suge was a mentor that could get him where he wanted to be.

Reggie on another channel people in the comments were saying that the whole world basically knew that Pac was released the same day he got out, but word of Pac's release didn't spread that fast did it? It wasn't world wide news the very first day he got out right? Was there a plan for Death Row to officially announce it? Seems like Death Row was keeping the news of Pac's release and signings low key until the right time, but the news of Pac's release sort of leaked out after 2Pac was spotted at a mall buying clothes. It was that mall sighting that spread the news that Pac was out of prsion right? Then the media started calling around for the story. The reason I bring that up is becauae there's some debate about whetherr or not Faith Evans knew that Pac was released and had sign to Death Row. Faith claims she didn't know Pac had signed to Death Row. Faith was at the studio exactly 7 days after Pac got out. I feel it's possible that word of Pac signing to Death Row wasn't well known on the 7th day of his release. MTV published the story of Pac being bailed out and signings to Death Roe but that story didn't air until weeks after Pac got out. Was DR keeping the news of it on the low? Is it possible for Faith to have not known about Pac's deal with Death Row 7 days after his release?

@@redmor1516 I think it could be possible that she didn't know that Pac actually had a deal with Death Row Records until she got to Can Am like she says. That is possible. I don't think she heard it from the media, and Pac could have been purposely keeping it from her until some point. Who knows. I just question why she would lie about that though? What does she gain from lying about that detail? Even after she found out Pac was on Death Row it didn't change anything. She still stayed. She still did the song with Pac. Why would she lie about when she found out about the Death Row deal? She eventually found out, why would she lie about when she found out? Doesn't make sense. Different pictures, different days, different outfits and different locations? There's only two pictures of Pac and Faith. And those pictures are from one location, on the same day, with the same outfits. The Hollywood Athletic Club pictures. There is only two photos taken and both pictures are from two different people. One pic with just Pac and Faith taken by one person, and theres one pic with Pac, Faith, Treach and others taken by another person. There's only two pictures of Pac and Fath in existence and they're both from the same day, same place, same outfit. Not sure what you're referring to. 🤔

@@willt8848 Wife? On paper maybe. They were separated at the time though, and she was grown. I guess she can do what she wants. I don't think she was looking for Biggie's permission to work. Because regardless of if she got with Pac or not, she did go there to make money and work right? Thats her profession. Recording songs in studios is her trade. And actually that was a really opportunity as a singer because I would imagine that a writers and publishing percentage on a diamond selling album would be pretty nice money that could possibly come in over her entire lifetime. Aside from her sexual life (which I care nothing about) her working with 2Pac on a song for All Eyez On Me was a really great business connection that she made in October of 1995. She didn't know it at the time, but it was a great album placement. I do kimd of wonder if Death Row really reached out to her for permission to release the song, with her on it. I wonder if they just pulled her off and replaced her without even asking. But also she did write the lyrics to the chorus that was used. It wasn't her singing but she still wrote it and arranged it. I wonder if she ever made any money from that. In my opinion the beef as we know it didnt seem like it was all that deep in the first week of Pac's release when Faith was there. I'm trying to really understand how things went from (Death Row being cool with Biggie's wife recording songs with them) to "Hit Em Up". That's a pretty big leap and that gap isn't filled when it comes to the history books. Suge said that Faith Evens heard the "Don't Look Any Further" sample at Can Am, and then Faith told Biggie about the sample and Biggie took it and used it on the "Get Money Remix". And that 2Pac was mad at that so he recored the first version of "Hit Em Up". Then why did 2Pac make a version 2 that was even worse than the first? What triggered that? Over a sample? That's hard to believe. People use the same samples all the time. Especially the samples that Johnny J used. Johnny J didn't dig deep in the crates for samples. Johnny sampled all the hit records. The popular well known stuff. I think it's like Reggie said, that Suge wanted Biggie to perform at Club 662, and when Puffy flaked on Suge Suge got Pac to really go in on them.
