Robert H. Lustig, MD, UCSF Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, explores the damage caused by sugary foods. He argues that fructose (too much) and fiber (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin. beautiful work. Everyone should be sharing this with those they care about. Once you watch this look into the way sugar feeds cancer. In fact if you have cancer cells they are the first to light up immediately after eating sugar. SO MANY serious problems are linked directly to sugars. We SHOULD have a tax like we do for liquor, for all things sugar.

    People just to clarify to help you. Fructose from eating raw friuts and the Glucose from raw vegetables is very very healthy. What he is talking about is refined sugars from junk food and junk drink and excess complex carbohydrates and alcohol.

  • @ziomsonthomson

    @ziomsonthomson

    Well in fact he said opposite - Fructose is any different from other sugars, and sometimes is even worse. The thing is that fruits and vegetables are way much healthier due to vitamins, and fibers than junk food and that is why every dietetician will tell you that fruits are way much better than sweets but in terms of sugar they are the same, they are just lesser evil due to nutrition values.
