Sugar Rose Tutorial | How to Make a Gumpaste Rose
How to make a rose from sugar paste without cutting? - I will show you in my step-by-step video master class. In a similar way, you can sculpt flowers on a wire not only from mastic, but also from polymer clay.

How to make a bush sugar mini rose from gum paste to decorate a cake with your own hands? In this video master class you will learn all about modeling flowers to decorate a Rose cake from sugar paste. Sugar flowers in English technique are made using wire and floral tape.
We will learn how to make flowers from mastic without cutting.
To sculpt sugar flowers, a rose from sugar paste you will need:
- Wire No. 22 for the stem,
- Wire No. 28 or 30 for leaves and petals of a sugar flower,
- Floral ribbon,
- Sugar paste (In this video I use the purchased mastic for sugar flowers Fun Cakes. But you can sculpt flowers on wire and from milk mastic - a link to the recipe of which you will find in the attached comments under this video master class),
- A board for sugar flowers (for a video on how to make sugar flower petals without a board, see the link in the attached comment under this video).
- Rolling pin for sugar floristry, Dresden stack, wheel for mastic.
- Patterns of rose petals and leaves. You will find them in the attached comment under this video lesson on sugar floristry.
- Weiner (texture) of rose leaves.
- Flower pollen (Medium green, fuchsia) and dry synthetic brushes No. 8 and No. 10.
- Synthetic brush No. 1 and water.

Such beautiful roses thank you for sharing I have a tip for you use a sponge and put the wire into the sponge it'll hold up instead of the paper towel I use big car sponges I make my flowers out of homemade clay I use the gum paste flower techniques to make my flowers I hope this helps
