Every stanza feels like the phases of falling in and out of love. The somberness of the last stanza make my heart sink, but in such a beautiful way.

I heard this song for the first time when it was nominated for an Oscar. It is the most haunting, most gut wrenching song I ever heard. And I still love it to this day. This is a song about that first love,that you would do anything for, and they won't do the same for you. Words can't even explain it, but this song gives you an idea. It's amazing. It takes my breath everytime I hear the first cords. If you have ever been there, you completely get it.

damn, this just brings back the adventures you had with that one person. The way you looked into they’re eyes, and experienced the adventures together. The way we kissed. It’s as if it was only you and them and the love that you have between each other. Song really has a empty feeling as if that love is just a mystery.

I feel like i have hope again in life, like im not some poor sack of shit that no one cares about. I have friends who actually care about me, i feel loved and cared for for the first in so long. I feel so full of joy, i could cry out of joy rn. Im just so glad i didnt do anything stupid or dangerous. Im still going through mental illnesses, some fucked up shit i dont wanna talk about. One more thing, i always felt like an outcast in my friend group because i was the autistic kid of the group, hard time speaking getting my thoughts out, apologizing for everything even when it wasn't my fault. Thats about all i have to say. But whoever reads this i want to thank you for listening to my struggles, hope you have a great day/night. :)

This movie has a huge effect on me. From the first time I saw it, I was in love with it. Everything about it is perfection. I have never watched a movie were I could actually feel the sadness and heartbreak the characters were feeling. That is amazing acting right there. Timothee Chalamet made Elio a real person for many of us to feel his emotions.

@@jazzlinvega9496 the feeling of being in love and the little memories you cherish when it is taken away, ‘the first time that you kissed/touched me’ etc just translates to me that when you lose a relationship you never lose the love and you reminisce over the passion.

It’s crazy how I listen to this type of songs and really feel them. Crazy because I’m 16, haven’t had my first kiss, never really had something serious with a boy (I mean to have a relationship), not taken seriously because I’m too “perfect” and people get intimidated by me; The boys I like live thousands of miles away from me. And the times I liked a boy I always got played, I thought rumors were fake :). I always complain about being lonely but someone enters in my life and I shut them down. Not to be bad or anything but I think it’s because I’m scared of disobeying my father. he prohibits me to have a boyfriend, he always tells me to wait till I finish my career ( I want medicine btw, and prob going to study in another country) and that scares me. What if I meet a guy I really like but in another country, how are things going to be?. Nice, I just realized I got an anxiety attack, and that one of my greatest concerns is out there on the internet
