Derek Boyer has to be one of the most underrated bassists in death metal. I love his tone and style, it's so fucking metal! People like fretless wankery too much these days, it's not nearly as cool as a chunky fretted bass imo

fretless bass works for some bands better than others. beyond creation is a good example of a tech death band that uses it so well. but the bass in this is just so fucking killer

The bass cuts through really well in the mix, the only other bassist I know of that has a nice tone that cuts through is Alex webster. The two best bassist in death metal period.

Was just thinking and commenting on the same thing but everyone is typing in spanish on here and cant read if anyone said anything about Guy. Everytime I see a new live video of them they have different or new members. Terrance Hobbs is the only OG member and I also thought they got a new drummer after Kevin Talley too. Some tatted up younger cat.

Los dislikes son de los ardidos que no estuvieron en vivo viendo esta estupenda banda. El video es bueno y el audio igual pero los que estuvieron allí presentes coincidirán conmigo es que sonaba brutalmente hermoso ese día su audio de Suffocation.

Para mi fue la banda con mejor sonido de todas las que vi, sonaba, brutal, devastador, demoledor, el baterista sonaba bien cabrón, el bajista el estilo que tiene me fascina y el vocalista sin palabras, que poder en esas cuerdas vocales.

La verdad me fastidió que el audio presencial estaba muy bajo de voz y algunas cosillas que me enfurecieron... pero estuvo chingon... como no!

Totalmente de acuerdo, el.sonido en vivo fue otra cosa. Desde que el señor Boyer hizo sonar su bajo fue totalmente "devasta entrañas" Me atrevo a decir que soffocation estuvo mejor que sepultura .

suffocation es de las bandas que suenan mejor en vivo que en los cds, lo que me sorprende es que todo el público esta estático, yo así estaba la primera vez que los mire en vivo y eso que no escucharon a frank muller

tremendo concierto su tecnica es impresionante una banda de leyenda..a cuantos grupos no inspiraron...creadores de un estilo un lujo para ustedes verlos en vivo...grande Suffocation!!!

De verdad que fueron una de las bandas con mejor audio (si no es que la mejor), nada mas de recordar el audio, su forma de tocar y el mosh que había cerca del escenario, no te arrepientes de haber estado ahí. Muchos se podrán quejar de que el vocalista no es el original, pero si Frank Mullen no quiere o puede hacer giras y solo prestar su voz para estudio, pues muy problema de la banda, en el festival este vocal sonó genial y no creo que haya demeritado en demasía la presentación aunque sus guturales no son tan parecidos, sono devastador a mi punto de vista.

+Fercho Romo pues no decepcionó, dejaron que parte de los asistentes subieran al escenario a hacer air bass lo malo es que cerraron el New blood stage y no alcancé a ver mucho de ellos pues era a la misma hora que Behemoth. Me gustaría que regresaran de nuevo.

Como se escucha súper nítido y muy sobre los demás instrumentos el bajo 😮😮😮😮😮 no cabe duda que es uno de los que más resaltan en la banda junto al guitarrista negrooo 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

They sound good even with the new guys. I wouldn't want to be a guitar player learning that set, there's a shitload of changes and its almost all FAST. Yeah, I like Frank on vocals but this guy does alright, Frank can't tour extensively so someones gotta do it.

I saw suffocation with soulfly on their tour up in Rochester, NY back in may. This was the lineup. They were fucking killer.

The sound balance is perfect, u can hear every instrument. In my opinion suffocation should rerecord every old album, the new ones sounds much more clear, and it's awesome

Ya estoy listo para verlos en junio 2019...

una de mis bandas favoritas de death metal tal vez precursor del ahora death metal técnico como lo han denominado, sin embargo creo yo que siempre ha sido técnico el tocar death metal sin subestimar otros ritmos de metal y sin subestimar el conocimiento de muchos metaleros, pero suffocation se la rifo.
