@@mihzt3709 Agreed! They need to go back to the old school method and just mic everything up and quit digitizing. They just sounded like an overproduction cookie cutter death metal band. Pinnacle was a great set of songs plagued by the overly polished product. A band like this needs to be captured raw, imperfections and all..

@@aaronrose7090 True. But they are still the same weirdly. Ricky Myers, the new vocalist, is crazy similar to Franks sound live. Seen them with both many times, since Ricky sat in on a few tours couple of years ago. Still sounds like Suffocation. When Terrance steps down, the band is over however.

Gonna have to throw Immolation in there, also Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide. Meshuggah is also among my favs of all time.
One of the best live acts/bands that walked the earth And i watched over 500+ concerts in my life
One of the only bands I’ve seen live that made me say “holy shit” in reaction to how tight and precise they played. Terrance busted out a solo that pretty much made the crowd do a collective gasp because it was so incredible. I hate to say it in a way but they literally blew everyone off the stage including the headline act…the mighty Morbid Angel.

@@stevenhenderson9630 Saw them w/ David fronting when they headlined Summer Slaughter in 2014, not to be a hater but they left A LOT to be desired live. I know they're getting up there in age, but it just wasn't good, and a huge part of why was David.

Im glad that i saw Suffo with Frank on stage. No hate but its not the same show without his legendary presence.

Of the dark light was a step towards their early shit imo .. NEW SUFFOCATION ,OBITUARY, MALEVOLENT CREATION ,AND DYING FETUS BE BADASS .
A BIG BIG Thank you to Frank Mullen. And of course the rest of the band. If it weren't for Effigy of the Forgotten, that got me through some shit, I wouldn't be here today. I'm forever grateful for you guys. ❤

One of my favorite Death metal bands, definitely in my top 10.

If there would have been a full album with tracks all in the style of Despise The Sun,that would have been the best album.

Doug Cerrito was a wicked song writer. I love Suffocation, but the reunion material could never hold a candle to the classic albums.

@@NoWittyNameDevised absolutely, I always loved his song writing and lyrics. He wrote the tunes Breeding the Spawn, synthetically revived, funeral inception and many others as you know, so nuff said lol. I liked souls to deny mainly because there was new suffocation to hear and I got to see them several times, but missed Doug. Terrance is a bad mother fucker though, but having him and Doug side by side was unstoppable as far as I'm concerned. I do love the whole album Pinnacle of Bedlam, for me that one was the closest to their older stuff. Haven't heard all of their new stuff but it still fucking slaps for me, but yeah, just not quite the same, especially now that Terrance is the only original member. All that said, I'm stoked for this live album. The Sound and tightness are incredible!

Hard to believe my 4th wedding anniversary is Oct 27th, meaning it's almost been 3 years since I saw this tour. It was well worth skipping my first wedding anniversary for this and hanging with the guys, and would you believe it? I'm STILL married to the same woman!

Yep, the sound of.... When I first heard Suffocation back in 1992 it became my favorite band instantly. Since then I follwed you guys. Can't wait to see you again in 2022 (Hengelo 26th of feb).

Oh shit this was at the Boston show on that tour! Watched the whole set side stage and it was utter chaos. My neck was fucked for the next week from headbanging too hard at that show. Best Suffo show I will ever see.
They're so good live. A long time ago I won tickets off WAAF for Morbid Angel, Suffocation and Satyricon. They blew me away and I went out and bought a couple CDs. Instant fan.

That's so tight! I remember seeing them in a local venue a few years back. Was awesome just hung on to the stage for dear life as the pit raged on behind me! Just to get a good view of the band. Really awesome. Would love to see them come again! One of the best gigs I ever did see!
