The best drummer of Suffocation is back!!!

If anyone is suspicious about Dave, go to listen the album Eternal from Malevolent Creation, he was only 20 years old when he recorded this amazing album...for me the only cool thing that Mike did was in the "Effegy Of the Forgotten"...he didn't recorded "Pierced from Within" which is a masterpiece (Doug Bohn did), and after Despise the Sun when Dave left, I didn't like the sound of this band anymore, but now that Dave is back, I'm looking forward. (sorry my bad english)

I was expecting a better quality video. Good thing his drumming is so good that the quality didn't effect the enjoyability of the video. Looking forward to seeing them with this guy, wish Mike was still behind the drums though.

Yep. Bill Robinson told me the entire story when I was hanging out with him before Decrepit Birth's set at Occupation Domination, and it painted Mike in a very, very negative light.

Remember No one blasts as strong as mike, but im not saying this isnt a good drummer yes he is very accurate, im just saying, cheers!

They had a rather nasty falling out last year.

I don't want to hear any ill speak of Mike Smith. I've seen plenty of drummers with shocking "technique" shred drummers who are trained. My opinion is, if it's comfortable for you then it's good technique.

Dave is a far superior drummer. Mike is good and sounded great on Effigy but his technique is suspect. Dave was well trained through Drum Corps and his chops/rudiments are rock solid. Dave has played on so many incredible albums for many different bands (Malevolent Creation, Hateplow, Gorgasm, Suffocation, Incantation.) Mike Smith made some selfish choices...twice. The band is better off with Dave.

I have to disagree, Mike is far far better suited to Suffocation But saying that Dave is basically the best replacement they couldve got hehha

I much prefer Dave to Mike

I've always thought that Mike is/was really overrated.
