The best solo in this genre. Virtuosic but it is part of the whole. Tonally and rhythmically rounded and expressive.

This was my first introduction to Suffocation. This track was a sonic assault on the soul of my eardrums. I often wonder what attracts me to metal. It's amazing how metal heads just can seem to find one another and just connect.

That's awesome that you finally discovered the mighty Suffocation. They have been my favorite band of all time since I was a kid, brilliant in all aspects and endeavors, and on every release. Check out their 1995 album, 'Pierced From Within'. To me and many metal/death metal fans, that album is basically the holy grail

i remember when this album got out, i was in a death metal band, we were so much into old death metal like early suffocation, and we didnt think much of this record. now listening this after all those years, this sounds like a classic old school death metal compared to shit what is released today and called death metal. i know theres a bit of nostalgia there but still.
