Idk, usually on pretty divisive movies you see at least some positive reviews from critics. And audience scores are valid too, it's down to someone's taste! I’m in several pop punk online communities, and MGK was seldom talked about before he announced he’d create a pop punk album. Ever since 2020, everyone’s been at each other’s throats either defending him or bashing him. Personally, I think he’s insanely overrated and some in the pop punk community like him not for the music itself, but for putting out pop punk songs that charted on billboard. They cancel other lesser known artists with a questionable/gross past, but give MGK a pass because he is viewed as a “savior of the genre”, which is very hypocritical too.

I don’t care how long it’s been that’s really harmful behaviour and he hasn’t even apologized. He does not get a pass. I know in my soul that if I were to sit down and watch this movie, I wouldn’t enjoy it. However, you set up the moments where we hear certain jokes so well that I can’t help but laugh at them

How High (2001) a couple of friends smoke the weed grown with the ashes of a dead friend and talk to his ghost, there was another where they do smoke weed to fill in a deadpersons urn to "replenish it", can't remember which one, they actually end up having to do it several times, because of "antics", not sure if it's one of the cheech and chong ones, or Pineapple Express

I once accidentally texted my girlfriend "Good mourning" and it turns out that very morning someone in her family had died 😅 Thank you for making this movie watchable via another entertaining review (I still won't be watching it though).
