నాన్న కోసం చేశాను కానీ త్యాగం చేశానని అనుకోవట్లేదు. ఎందుకంటే తల్లితం్రులిద్దరూ పిల్లలకి చేసిన త్యాగం కంటే పిల్లలు వాళ్ళకి చేసింది ఏమీ ఉండదు. కానీ ఒక situation చెప్తాను. మా నాన్న గారి కి వేరే స్టేట్ transfer అయ్యింది. అప్పుడు నేను 8th class, అన్న ఏమో ఇంటర్ వచ్చాడు. మేమిద్దరమూ అక్కడ చదువుకోడానికి ఇబ్బంది. ఎందుకంటే అక్కడ హిందీ medium, Punjab medium మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి. అమ్మ మాతో నే A.p lo ne వుండి చదివించు కుంటాను అంది. కానీ మా నాన్నగారికి వంట రాదు. కనీసం కాఫీ కలుపుకోవడం కూడా రాదు. అందుకని నేనే అందరినీ ఒప్పించి నేను, మా అన్న మా grand ma ఇంట్లో వుండి 3yrs చదువు కున్నాము. నేను ఎప్పుడూ మా అమ్మని, నాన్న ని వదలి ఉండలేదు. కానీ అప్పుడు అలా వుండాల్సి వచ్చింది. మా parents నేను ఎంతో ఎంతో miss అయ్యాను. చాలా sick అయ్యాను. వాళ్ళ ఇంట్లో adjust అవ్వలేక పోయాను. ఏది ఎవ్వరికీ చెప్ప లేక పోయాను. వాళ్ళు చీటికి మాటికి మా ఇద్దరినీ తిడుతూ వుండేవారు. మేము కామ్ గా వున్న నాన్న వాళ్ళకి చాలా కంప్లైంట్స్ చెప్పేవారు. వాళ్ళ కి first time మా ఇద్దరి పైన చాలా కోపంగా వుండేవారు. చాలా depress అయ్యేదాన్ని. అవి తలుచుకుంటే ఇప్పటికీ బాధగా ఉంటుంది. తర్వాత మళ్లీ వాళ్ళ దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళాక అప్పుడు మా గురించి వాళ్ళకి అర్థమైంది. నాది ఒక్క suggestion ఏంటి అంటే ఎవ్వరూ వాళ్ళ పిల్లలని ఇంకొకరి దగ్గర ఉంచకూడదు. అది ఏ పరిసథితుల్లో అయినా సరే. వాళ్ళకి, Parents ki ఒక gap వస్తుంది.

సర్ ఆస్తిలో వాటా ఇవ్వడం సరి కాకా పోవొచ్చేమో అడా పిల్లలకు అంటే దాని అర్ధం వాళ్ళను తక్కువ చూడడం ఖాధు ఆడవాళ్లకు పెళ్లిలో ఘనంగా అంటే కట్న కానుకలు పెళ్లి ఖర్చులు గోల్డ్ ,కొత్త కాపురానికి సరిపడ వస్తువులు సరి పద వస్తువులు ఇవ్వన్నీ సమకూర్చడానికి తండ్రులకు ఎంత ఇబ్బంది,ఒకటి ఆడపిల్ల పుట్టిందంటే చాలు చిన్నప్పటినుండి వాళ్లకు ఖర్చులు ఎక్కువనే ప్రతి విషయంలో పెళ్లి ఐనతరువత వరుడు ఎక్కడా ఉంటే అక్కడికే కూతురును పంపించడం జరుగుతుంది అంటే ఎన్నో వందల కిలోమీటర్లు పంప వలసి వస్తుంది అంటే వీళ్లకు రెండు ఎకరాల భూమి వుండి ముగ్గురు సంతానం లో ఒక అమ్మాయి ఉంటే అమ్మాయికి దీనిలో వాటా ఇవ్వడం వలన భూమి వేరేవాళ్లకు అమ్మవాలసి వస్తుంది కాబట్టి దీనికి బదులుగా పెళ్లిలో సరిసమానంగా కట్నకానుకలు ఇస్తున్నారు కాబట్టి ఇవ్వ వలసిన అవసరం ఉండక పోవచ్చు ఆస్తి అనేది ఏకీవ ఉంటే ఇస్తే పరవాలేదు అని నా సభిప్రాయం దీని అర్ధం అమ్మాయిలను తక్కువ చేయడం ఖాధు
