I think it's time to appreciate the technicians from the industry as well, because without their contribution it's impossible to get the true sense of storytelling. Thanks Film Companion for this initiative. Wish to see more of technician's stories.
The set up for this interview is also beautiful 😍. It's quite evident that these technical team members have so much to share & without the burden of stardom. Kudos for this segment & looking forward to hearing from more technical people from the film industry.
Eagerly Waiting for other behind the scenes geniuses like him to come and share their stories.. Art, costume, continuity etc Absolute gem and thank you fc
Most fascinating interview.....so much to learn about the mind of a cinematographer
Always so excited to see FC push boundaries for us viewers to actually learn about cinema and be in on the minds of such creative human beings as Sudeep. One could tell just how much he enjoys his work as the 'messenger in time'. Thank you to Anupama and the team for a wonderful interview and like him, I too wished there was more towards the end 🙃
This is better than chasing starkids... GOOD job anupama 🙏🙌👍

Thank you Film Companion for making it so worth watching for a cinematographer .
Amazing. FC is really a pioneer in film interviews and interactions. This was so good. They definitely have stories to tell.
Amazing show and finally the “focus” is on the correct talent. Thanks FC. Every time I think of unsubscribing after a Agastya Nanda or Khushi Kapoor, something like this makes me stick around.
Such a great view into the brain of an incredible artist! Thank you for this interview. Perhaps one thing that would have been a good addition to the questions is to ask Sudeep to talk about the work of his contemporaries…. It is always great when artists can talk about each other’s work with admiration and it also gives you additional insight into how they think.
Eagerly waiting for more on this line!!!
Loved this

@@FilmCompanion Can't wait! You guys are doing us film enthusiasts a great favour. Thank you ❤️
Thanks FC for this interview, hoping to see many of these insightful conversations at every level of the film making process. Was fortunate to be a fly on the wall throughout the sets of Dhoom3, truly magical to observe the care with which Sudeep treats every ounce of light on the subjects and their relationships with the environment within a frame.. making things organic yet aesthetically pleasing to the eyes no matter how low or high impact the shot is. No matter the constraints on the set, was inspiring to see him persistently breathing life into what the ARRI or Phantom Cameras capture with the same enthusiasm with every shot and take!
Thank you for introducing us to the world of cinematography FC. You guys are the best🤩
Amazing!! Side note: do something with Editors too.
Keep bringing cinematographers

I am a Very happy Film companion doing an interview with people who are really making the film, The inside of the film will be very helpful as a student of cinema.
Loved this!!! Been a huge fan of SLB’s world of lights, Colours, drama as each frame speaks beyond what the actors deliver. Today heard from the DOP himself it was an incredible show!! Keep it up Film companion & Anupama Chopra. I look forward to more such content in the coming days! Best one hour spent 🙌
Thank you FC for getting technicians now....very informative and so much talent which is not seen in the forefront.
I hope they bring and question legends like P c sriram, santhosh shivan, Ravi k Chandran, Ravi varman and many more..❤
Loved this ❤ This concept is fab - a great way to learn about the world of cinema and how much goes behind making a movie. Can't wait to see more of this.
You r the best Anupama
Loved this episode!! It was interesting to learn about cinematography and how that infulences the movie.
Though some of the questions were quite interesting, it would be a much more insightful and better conversation if it’s cinematographer on cinematographer - see if you can bring in something like that FC? Meanwhile, please know these deep digs into cinematography are so appreciated. Thank you for ‘em 🤙🏿🙌🏿
Thank you for this episode. Waiting for more❤
