Сударшана-чакра является атрибутом и символом Верховного Господа Вишну и венчает все вишнуитские храмы, в которых поклоняются Верховному Господу в Его различных обликах Кришны, Рамы, Нрисимхи, Вишну и других. Су-даршана буквально переводится как “благоприятный даршан” или созерцание Господа, это подразумевает что видеть сударшану чакру на верхушке храма равносильно даршану, созерцанию Господа. Именно это утверждал Сам Господь Чайтанья в разговоре с Харидасой Тхакурой в Джаганнатха Пури, говоря, что поклоняться чакре на храме Джаганнатхи равносильно тому чтобы предстать перед Самим Господом в храме. Чакра, или колесо также символизирует колесо времени, оружия, побеждающего все в этом мире.
Теперь это всепобеждающее оружие Господа венчает купол храма Новая Навадвипа в Киеве.
