The Kavirondo were the original occupants of the L.Victoria region in Western Kenya before Luo occupation and assimilation .

I am watching the video right now from Gulu. To guide the veiwers, there are two songs merged in this video. The first song is produced by Ogaza producer [Acholi from Uganda], it plays for 3 minutes 30 seconds while the second song is by Lucky producer ( South Sudan) it has an English word " pain killer, The Ladies dancing in the event are dressed in clothes representing the Uganda flag. The event seem to happened in SS and at the end of the video, we have seen people coming to dancing, others shouting slogans that are for non Luo. Thank you all

Even in my little age in Kitgum, we had very many South Sudanese around but I never heard of the Acholi group among them neither did I meet any of them that spoke the same language with me like it is in the song. There may be Acholis in South Sudan but who don't speak or dance like the Acholi in Uganda and that is my point. I will very much love to meet them one day and also learn their culture.

Acholi from Uganda originated from South Sudan. Acholi from South Sudan and Uganda speaks the same language, have the same culture, music, food, Dance. Maybe some dialects are different but South Sudan Acholi and Uganda are the Same people. Do your Research and learn more about Acholi people.
