I love how raw these early episodes were. This is one of those rare shows that actually suffered from higher budgets and production quality. Like, the random b-roll of Adam eating a burrito, the almost Tarantino film quality of the video, the lack of fancy graphics and scripting, just pure problem solving, puns, and unvarnished fun.

This is why I'm fond of the early episodes, Mythbusters got that, "What the HECK are we doing here!?" vibe in the first place. Later seasons, everyone felt too professional, they don't really show mistakes and mishaps and they really formatted the show into a show and tell, instead of, "Let's see what we can do to solve the issue".

The leaping lawyer was very much a real case: he was a high-profile lawyer married to someone who would later become the city manager in Toronto. His office was on the 24th floor of TD Centre's tallest tower. Every year he had a large group of interns visit the building, and the tour would end in his large corner office, where he'd demonstrate the strength of the windows (it wasn't any sort of "male bravado" than it was simply pure stupidity. He repeatedly ran into the same window over many years, and one year, the window simply gave out, and fell into the marble courtyard facing King Street - so everyone got a view of this, in the middle of a busy work day at the busiest intersection in the country. It was sometime in the late 80's or early 90's. The windows were actually very strong... but not intended for the purpose the lawyer used them for.

@@allanshpeley4284 It's a true story from Toronto. But they didn't look into how or why the glass failed. But I've a theory myself. When the Hancock Tower in Boston was completed, they had issues with the glass on the upper floors popping out and falling to the street below. The cause was repeated stress due to thermal expansion and contraction. So it is actually pretty plausible that if a guy spent years running against the same pane of glass as a demo that the stress over time could cause it to fail.

The material they used is great for a lower layer, but they need more soft fatty analogue material to imitate the fat that would conform about the shape of the seat. It was also a failure in that they used a small womans ass to make a large ass. Fat butts and skinny butts are gonna be different enough that this editing they did was not enough.
