@@ertham4898 The damage to the eye looked like it came from a punch but in real time speed + the camera angle, I couldn't tell. I think that is why the Italian fighter felt ok about finishing him off with that last blow. I don't think that it was a sucker punch at the end but without the replay there is no way to be sure. Your right though, even if it was a sucker punch it was still a legal blow.

Infelizmente não tem como punir Gianni, não é assim que funciona. Ele foi covarde sim, um fds nojento! Mas a carniça do juiz que deveria ter evitado impedindo-o de atacar Karaki, que diga-se de passagem, estava fora de combate. O foda é que se trata de um julgamento subjetivo, o juiz certamente vai alegar que não viu nenhuma irregularidade e decidiu dar proceguimento à luta e vai ficar por isso mesmo. Karaki que se fudeu no final das contas. Não se pode dar as costas p seu oponente, a menos que o juiz interfira na luta, o que não foi o caso. De certa forma, foi até uma imaturidade de Karaki. Não aprendeu na teoria, agora aprendeu na prática, é assim que funciona.

To be fair, eyepokes are absolutely debilitating... And he got poked badly.. He probably expected the referee to let him recover from a very obvious eye poke..

That Italian fighter did nothing wrong for that action but It still a sucker punch..Eye poke!! That's why the UAE's fighter ask referee to pause and check on his eye but unfortunately, they had a wet and sluggish referee who done nothing to pause the fight.

@@PaulMichaelLevesque69 no man, he did.. when he walked off it's clearly because of an eye poke. He didn't run from him trying to save himself. He walked off with the universal eye poke that many opponents recognize - they usually back away so that the ref makes a decision on checking on the fighter or of he says continue. The ref was a discount Frank Trigg who apparently has no business refereeing fights. Mellilo capitalized and knocked him out. Pretty shitty move after an illegal one.

We're talking about A soccer punch not an Polk He may have gotten Poked in the eye It happens with these kind of gloves But the Referee Did not stop the fight A fighter cannot call time out by himself Is therefore the punch was legal And not a Sucker punch

He hit him with a solid left hook to the eye, not an eye poke. It's clear as day that it was a punch. You have to protect yourself at all times. *edit. Went back and looked and the eyepoke does happen just before the hook, but he still has to protect himself until the ref stops in. I still disagree with calling it a cheap shot.

The eye poke was with the right hand, just before the left hook. Watch from 3:16 and you'll see the eye poke at 3:18

Melillo is a professional boxer and had enough time to pull his punch. Cheap shot however you look at it.

If a guy was accidentally eye poked, he should at least get a few minutes to check his eye. Even F1 drivers concede their position if they wrongfully overtake another driver
