Hello, the key notes I got out of this video from Amy are; 1. She doesn’t like moving or transplanting her succulents in their dormant/non growing season because their roots are weakened and their not as strong as in their growing season to bounce back from uprooting. 2. They do much better in the ground and grow bigger and multiply faster. 3. The more you behead the succulents, the more they multiply. 4. She’s not inclined to post videos but she was motivated by a fan who couldn’t afford to start a collection. This is a very extensive long accumulation of succulents. On a personal note, this is why watchers should like and subscribe. It’s free and it encourages video makers to make videos, especially when’s it’s not their full time job. This is a personal passion they are sharing. 5. Ruby necklace, if you water too much and keep it in shade it won’t colour as when you stress it with plenty of sun and less watering. 6. The collection is both local and imported succulents. Each have their individual uniqueness. 7. She made the video for customers with small gardens who dream of larger gardens 8. She suggests beginners to start slowly and not start with expensive and variegated plants till you gain experience with common ones. It will be discouraging you if they don’t survive. 9. She sacrifices the beauty of some perfect Echeverias by removing centre new leaves to create clusters. It doesn’t look great for a while but you eventually get a cluster. 10. Cotyledons don’t water in their dormant season. It can make their roots rot. They look wilted and lacking water but don’t over do it. Once a fortnight perhaps. 11. She uses the pond water to water the succulents because it’s great for them.
