She's such an utter bitch and the funniest character in this show. As a Brit who has had the displeasure of working with some of the landed gentry I can also attest that she is very accurate to how a lot of those people behave and think. Great writing.

Shiv is such a baddie. Shout out to Sara Snook and the wardrobe department.

The fits for Shiv in this series are just 😍. Snook has such a lovely figure and Michelle Matland deserves every petal on all the flowers 💐

that boathouse scene is one of my favs in this entire show i cry everytime, they're just siblings :( also shiv does care about tom, but doesn't respect him a lot, but at the same time her relationship with tom is a necessity and gives her a lot of stability she lacks in her general life, she'll never admit it but it does, otherwise she would have easily ditched him the minute her dad looked down on her for it. tom is in love with her but also is in love with her family, so it's sincerity mixed with incinserity which throws shiv off, making her seek something else, a conquest, she likes how much both tom and nate want her but in diff ways

The first time I heard Sarah Snook (Shiv) speak in her normal accent, I lost it. I had NO idea she was an Aussie. Her American accent is PERFECT.

As for Frank, Kendall (once again) has sabotaged himself. Frank wasn't acting with bad intentions. Kendall was so insecure about how the Canadians perceive him as a potential CEO, that he asked Frank to snoop. So it was a result of Kendall's actions.

i always felt like tom knew on some level that shiv was lying and probably having an affair but (at that point) was willing to play dumb, above all to just "get in" as family. like it gets him off so much thinking how he's marrying into that level of power. I do also think he loves or cares about shiv and maybe suppresses his suspicions which is why he told greg to shut up, but also maybe he felt like he knew but was playing some kind of long game where one day she'd only want him. but I haven't finished the series so I don't know how on the mark all that is

Yeah Shiv always has great outfits. Season 2 she even kicks it up a notch, imo.

I’d feel more sorry for Tom here if it wasn’t clear that he is partly only with her for the power of being linked to the Roy family. He was even willing to change his name. He’s not in it for purely genuine reasons either.

Caroline is so awful but it's hilarious to me.

Succession is one of my favorite shows and I love watching you two react to it! It's interesting to see your takes after finishing the show myself. Thanks for all the great videos!

Where is your reaction to season 1 episode 10??? I can’t seem to find it.

about color theories, and what's they are wearing, etc., they actually had a consultant on the show who's job was to consult on "super-extremely-rich people's clothing/accessories/jewelry/etc."

The soundtrack on the last shot (through the credits as well) reminded me of "The Night King" by Ramin Djawadi (Ep 3 Season 8 of GoT; where the main piano comes in)

I’ll die alone on the hill of this being the best HBO show of all time if I must. Sopranos was more important for its daring and scale and the Wire revolutionized the way stories are told by shifting perspectives each season but this is the most coherently written and performed show they’ve ever done. Not one poorly cast character - not one poorly written or directed episode. Both of those other shows had several weak performers and episodes.
