Great tips. I'm so focused on tasks, schedules, work load, and scheduling -- time management and productivity -- that I don't really think about the strategies to stay emotional and psychologically stable over the long term. I think I might be one of those that just "takes it on the chin" and tries to work harder to satisfy people, but that doesn't always accomplish what you set out to do.

Thanks for sharing. You are not alone in this! Better to be a a person that cares and then learning to moderate that rather than one that doesn’t care about others, right? 😂

I appreciate you bringing this up Payton! I'm currently developing my systems and processes and the topic of boundaries was something I didn't really consider! Thanks so much for talking about this.

I watch a few KZread channels that talk about marketing and entrepreneurship and yours is definitely one of the best. You’re consistently putting out useful content that doesn’t just feel like your repackaging old content.

I’d be interested in how you factor in outsourcing in your pricing, without having a for sure person to rely on I am not sure how to incorporate their fees into my project cost. These ideas are great for a team, but if you’re still a solo-preneur this seems a little more difficult to attain lol 😅

Good question. I find it best to have multiple options for outsourcing and knowing their rates beforehand. I try to set 50% of the project rate as the max for what I am willing to pay a contractor. But ideally 30-40%. Some might think that’s too high but I have found that keeps contractors motivated and invested! Then I always charge a bit more for each project to account for any unforeseen issues or expenses.

Helpful as always!! I've just started my agency and I want to outsource most of the projects but still wanna design, so may I ask, how did u structure your agency? e.g how many projects were u taking on per month and how many of those projects did u actually do yourself?

Cool tips as always. Do you think taking on projects you can't do with the plans of outsourcing it to someone you think can deliver is cool? I need your advice from an agency perspective.

I think it’s better to make connections with people you trust that can do the work first. Then you can confidently sell to clients knowing the project will get done right!

Think of not getting too much emotionally attached like ... parking your car outside before you get back home. Please don't take your car inside, your home space can barely take your family and their own issues. 😎
