Successful Christian Entrepreneur Will Change the Way You View Work

Today we are going to be talking about “faith and work since the beginning of time." Our guest today, Jordan Raynor, author of the upcoming children’s book “The Creator in You”, will be giving us a fresh perspective on the creation account from the Bible's first book, Genesis, that helps readers see that "the sixth day" wasn't the end of creation--it was "just the beginning." Jordan has written several books that give adults insight into the meaning of the purpose and value of work. In fact, it was Jordan’s book called Master of One, that I picked up during the pandemic that has really encouraged my decision to step out of corporate America and into doing full time ministry at Coffee and Bible Time beginning April 1st. His book taught me to imagine how different my life would be if I spent my time doing the very thing that brings me the greatest joy.

I have been really struggling with loving my job, finding my career, and balancing my entrepreneurship which is my creative outlet. Thank God I found this episode. You provided me with such a different perspective on God and His creation...OH and Jesus being a carpenter. You know sometimes we read things in the bible and we just read it, we don't indulge in it. Thank you again for making this episode!

This was wonderful today! I worked with children for 25 years so I thanked the Lord every day for helping me help them. The creativity that the Lord has blessed me with gave me ideas and help every day. I know that my work mattered and that the Lord put me on this earth for the purpose of helping children. I loved and enjoyed my job every moment and used my creativity on a daily basis!

This is good. It is true. But I think It can be a heavy burden on someone who does not have a revelation of their identity and inheritance in Christ. Also the revelation of Rest in Christ which we carry 24/7. We are working with Christ, letting him lead us. Ultimately it is his work through us and with us. However The Lord wants us to delight in the work he is doing in us and with us and through us. To do all things in Love.

Love you guys! I think maybe it could be good to have a shorter intro where the guest could intro themself as well! It just feels a bit long. Again love what you guys are doing :)
