We set out on a snowy night for a trip in Gifu Prefecture.
We stayed in the car at a roadside station in the snowy mountains at -8°C and went sightseeing in Hida Takayama.
At the morning market, I fell in love with a cute charm handmade by an elderly woman.
We then strolled through the old streets and enjoyed the cute retro buildings, sundries, and food.
That night, we stayed overnight in the car at a roadside station where there is a ski resort.

We are a family of three: husband (Shin), wife (Ayako), and daughter (Yuri), both around 40 years old and our only daughter.
We bought the campervan of our dreams, the Corde Leaves, so that our daughter could have a variety of experiences!
We will enjoy our hobby of outdoor activities, such as camping, staying in the car, mountain climbing, and fishing, while traveling all over Japan.

Yuri is so cute and precious. Of course she knows she is loved. I have long want to travel in Japan in a similar rental motorhome. I am in the US but have been to your country countless time but always relied on public transportation. I want to be able to explore freely on my own with a rented motorhome like yours.

find it fascinating what different folks consider “extreme” - minus eight is a mild lovely winter day 🇨🇦 minus 25 would be extreme - school’s are closed and children stay home - am 63 yrs and have seen weather esp winter weather change drastically esp in the past ten years - glad I had real winters as a child - a backyard rink for us to skate on - snow from end of October to middle of March - so much snow we could make snow forts - wasn’t really comfortable driving in winter until I lived in Alberta 🇨🇦 so many winter memories - lots of summer camping but no winter camping ❄️❄️❄️ thnx for sharing your winter adventures - stay safe have fun 🇨🇦🙏

Creo que los niños estarán muy contentos con esa tienda de golosinas porque es barata y tiene mucha variedad. Yuri compró muchos bocadillos, pero se los comió todos enseguida.

-8 Extreme cold and snow? Maybe if you lived in places like africa. That is a warm fall day and mild snow for Western Canada. We used to go for runs in high school gym class (wearing t-shirts, shorts and running shoes) in that weather. LOVED THE VIDEO! Cool looking place and would enjoy going there day (though I may need to go with someone who can speak the language). That camper!!! Want 1 just like it. Not to small and not to big - JUST RIGHT!
