This also sounds nice on headphones. There's slight stereo panning with one of the synths. Pleasant, rich, and slightly hypnotic.
Like drifting off in space. Very unwinding, calming. He is out there somewhere.
He was looking at people in East Germany on the other side of the wall. I'm looking into Palestine 😨
Thank you so much, David Bowie, for creating this beautiful album.
I think side-two from Low is my favourite side
I've a collection of them now. I wonder if each will ever see the other, for what they are. Mirrors are inadequate. Makeup, what if a lie, lied to itself? Would it still exist? In it's falsehood? Can a person be taught without the cruelty of pain? Let me paint you, without fear.
low sounds more modern than the music being made today
Originally created for the Film :"The Man Who Fell To Earth", it would work well simply dropped into just about any film :)
this song has always had such a level of surrealism that transcends this world. I am now appreciating it more than I ever had before. this experience has been ethereal. thank you, bowie<3
This song is so awesome with headphones
Album Low is 50 years "old" soon and it's new music still - crazy.
This track in particular feels like an evocative fast forward to the Electronic music of the 90’s.
We have been blessed with some excellent musicians in our time. This album is a wonderful example. RIP David.
The second side of the album was a total mind boink. Mesmerizing and haunting.
DAVID BOWIE IDOLO INMORTAL!!!!
Amazing feeling to this song
At the beginning, I was 19 I didn't understand these atmosphere, it was so different from station to station lp. After more then 40 years listen, I would say, thank you Mr Bowie, you're the soundtrack of my life. Saxophone it's so cool
This song transports me to an ancient place where the people, artists, priests and architecture are as one and are in some kind of ritual invocation of their god or gods who occasionally appear from no where or descend from the heavens and bless the people with renewed spiritual healing. One of the most moving pieces of music I have ever heard... like some ritual music at the base of the pyramids in an open air temple on a cloudless night where you can even see the edge of the milky way and shooting stars... and the multitudes singing wearing ritual robes.
15 dislikes...people with too much wax in their ears!
É como olhar para o céu estrelado, e contemplar o eterno vazio ... adoro essa musica.
