I kind of wish there was a titan leviathan in the dead zone! Imagine going down there, hearing a MASSIVE roar, seeing two glowing white eyes and then seeing a huuge mouth before being swallowed in seconds.

and also considering it's twice the size of the reaper, and it's not just a matter of looks cuz everytime I see it I grapple onto it with the prawn suit and swing around...I wouldn't dare to do that with the reaper.

It would likely dwell in the void and they could have a cinematic where when you first go there have a reaper attack you and miss swim out to the void to charge at you for another attack and get snapped up because lets face it the titan eats reapers for breakfast sea dragons for lunch and emperors for dinner

That's just game lore, the reality is completely different. You can hear the one near the mountain island roaring constantly for no reason. You can also build a base by a reaper and hear them roar even though bases are counted as a different "zone" so it is impossible for the reaper to see you as you do not exist in the same zone as it.

Reaper is scariest, Sea Dragon is the Most Dangerous ( and depressing if you are in hardcore mode ) and the Empress' story is quite sad but with a nice happy ending. By the way, if the Titan was alive, the whole exoplanet 4546b would be dead...☠️☠️☠️☠️RIP

shouldn't it be the other way around? I'd imagine he got pretty famous and rich for not only survivng an exoplanet but also descovering an alien civilization and curing a world ending disease that much more intelligent creatures couldn't cure for thousands of years. just him making the planet habitable and available for mining resources for Alterra makes it owe ALOT to the man, plus it said at the ending that his bank acount is now 1 trillion credits sooo yeah!

I'll be honest, I cried a bit when the Sea Emperor died.

The titan leviathans should be the ones guarding the void to discourage players entering it. Seriously, it would just shrug off any defence you mount and just eat you in one colossal bite

The thing is though once you get to some of the massive leviathans such as the Titan one there's no need to be scared of them because they wouldn't bother eating you. You wouldn't sustain them. They'd go for your Cyclops though

Sea Emperor is my favorite. It is a heartwarming story and is what subnautica needed

I once saw these huge fins jump out of the water, and I went running for my life the other way lol

Reaper is the scariest in my opinion because you can usually see the ghost and sea dragon leviathans whenever you visit their territory because the lost river and the lava biomes are pretty bright but the reapers live in the murkiest surface biomes with barely any shred of light while it roars In the distance closing in on you eventually eating you alive with their head mandables

I dunno, that sea dragon leviathan scream nearly made me shit my pants. Fucking terrifying.

I can’t believe I learned about the game years after the release. I really love the ocean and I really love games with a hint of horror, (full-on horror games don’t usually scare me) especially when the game involves exploring the world around you. So this should’ve been something I’d seen right away. I can’t believe it. I miss the release of the one game that feels like it was made specifically for me.

If the titan was still alive it self would be a freaking biome

You have to admit though that seeing them in the middle of nowhere is pretty awesome

My favourite is that Leviathan who talks with us telepathically

The Sea Dragon has the best call In my opinion. It's so eerie and cool

Let's all pour one out for the sea Emperor, She held out for so long, Just waiting until someone came to help. R.I.P Sea Emperor.

I would love to see the map slowly get bigger as the game is updated. Add new land, new mobs, more stuff.

I played Minecraft for a while. Still do but the server I go is shutdown atm. It's a new server and was fun but I end up calling monsters in games mobs. But that's what meant dude. As the game goes on I'd like to see the map get bigger, maybe to the point of being able to go around the whole planet but you can only really explore say a week after you hatch the eggs, makes more sense cause stuff is being cured. Opens up more places to go without worrying about infection.

Michael Barabos still wouldnt make any sense on this game since the planet were on is baren like the only reason there is a eco system and lava is becuase were on a freaking volcano the hole planet is much much much more deeper we just got "lucky" and landed on the goddamn thing expanding thw map won't do much since there isnt much out there in the deep since there isnt any plants or light or anything for creatures to survive on

YES. That storyline ends in such a sad way. Sure, you've cured the planet, but the largest living creature dies in the process. :(

I've heard of this game but never played it. I do like survival games and being underwater for the whole game in itself is trippy to me.

You know what would be funny? If there was a 4th sunbeam ending where when the Sunbeam flies over a section of the void where a giant ghost leviathan jumped out of the water, ate the sunbeam, and then was swallowed by a Titan Leviathan. SpongeBob Movie 3

The sea empror is my favorite character in whole game when she dies I was like ahhhhh mennn she was best😔😔😔🙁🙁 Edit:i hope they make her back like what she said a little creature maybe or a creature you see in the game and take it in your pod and then she reveals she's the sea empror. My fav leviathan has to be the "Ghost Leviathan" aka the "Titan", the reason for this is because of how big it is.

I've never seen a leviathan eat a reefback aside from when artificially placed there via commands. Please keep in mind that an apex predator only has to be the apex in its environment to be considered as such.

The lore never states that reefbacks are eaten, however, where they do with reapers.

i wish you would get a chance to see the sea emp babies grow and actually become part of the game where you can actually interact with them but they dont wish you harm as they remember you maybe they will even protect you from other leviathans

imagine they made an update where when you go to ship you get a radio message and a video you seeing someone still stuck in there but who woke up days after you did. and your character goes "fuck there was people left here" . and then the call glitches and you hear a scream and a reaper roar. thatd be epic but scary plot twist that you wouldn't be alone

My fav Leviathan is the Sea Emperor coz its so peaceful and not agressive like the other Leviathans,plus of its appearence in the announcement trailer

The Titan leviathan was possibly feeding on the sea dragons which is why there are only three when they went for reapers and possible out in the void due to there size die to nothing being in the void they turned cannibalistic and ate each other to extinction where the ghost then claimed the void for themselves once the last one fell from starvation the other wildlife could travel more

Man i miss this game. Might replay it later

By the way, that BIG ones bones in the bone fields, according to PDA, are only 1/3 of the whole size. Maybe.

Barks Wolfy dude i was playing through the game and encountered the ghost leviathan i ran as fast as possible. plus the sea emperor leviathan voice on your screen scared the hell out of me. THEN, in the hottest underwater point in game to finish it and saw the sea dragon leviathan.

Cool fact:back when the game was in beta in the front of the aroura crash site there was a huge hole that lead to the active lava zone. There that sea dragon would snatch a reaper and bring it down towards the active lava zone.
