There’s a safe area (kind of) farther back of the aurora in between of where he was in the video and the floating islands, it’s a part of the grassy plateaus

Healing back with only 1 medpack after taking the bite from a reaper is some bad math my guy 🗿

I made a custom subnautica map with all the reapers and ghost on it and when i was making the aurora area, the amount of reapers was just astonishing and then there was the dunes. We don’t talk about the dunes

Ive actually only once encountered a reaper near the aurora while swimming at the surface I only go deeper if i need stuff, but i had stasis rifle when i needed stuff

​@@midknightt7114there's actually about 5 near the back. 1 near the left thruster, 2 in the middle (I think those are the two you saw) and 3 settled closely around the right back thruster. It's why I always just enter the crash zone from under the front

Well, there are 6 of them around Aurora. 6 more behind the gun island, 8 at Dunes. At least, this much I counted, killed them all. Could miss some, you know... There are (were?) some of them, who are completely silent.

I've had reapers go silent too. Don't know if it's a bug but it seems to happen if I hurt them a lot or I spend a lot of time around them

@@shadowdragonlord2295 one guy with no_fog counted 26. Don't know for sure, if I really missed 6 of them. Silence could be scary. But, I wanted it strong enough to rip all the rippers on hardcore mode, with only knife, stasis gun and two oxygen tanks. Without even hard suit. Well... All I could find.

You're at the back of the Aurora. I've only ever seen one reaper there. Not sure what happened, maybe the one from the front took a stroll to the back.

There are ten reapers at the crash site. There are 2 around the front where you enter the aurora, 3 at the back, 3 right next to the side of the aurora nobody wants to be on and a final 2 pretty deep, I've only seen them two when I've been hunting them.

If you go to the middle of the Aurora on the side that faces safe shallows you're fine.

They sometimes just stay around a different area when they chase you. I remember in my first playthrough a Reaper decided to chase me into the most shallow water and just stay there. Always in audible range of my main base. Thought about reloading, but I decided "Well this is what it is now" eventually lured it back to the Aurora by sacrificing my seamoth.

By the way I'm only at the Aurora because I'm looking for part's to get a Cyclops. But now that I found two of them behind the Aurora I don't feel like going back Lol.

Build the seamoth first, and get the shock perimeter module Once the reaper grabs u, activate shock and he'll let loose immediately. He will only deal 5% damage or none. Sonar upgrade will be very useful to view, there aren't just cyclops fragments, but tons of chest loot that got batteries, water, med kits, and some power cells. It's all around the crash site, I do that with no fear thanks to the shock defense perimeter. Even works with the sea truck in subnautica below zero for the shadow and chelicerate leviathans

You can find engine fragments around the floating islands, significantly less dangerous than the aurora or crash site.

Полная ложь, я разбирался в лоре и биологии сабнатики, могу объяснить. Они по своей сути похожи на лосей, что-то тусуются, а потом пошли за самку драться, своими рогами(?). Жнецы сами по себе глубоководные хищники, которые выбрались выше на вулкан действующей игры, где у них нету конкуренции. А самки остались внизу, потому что они больше и опаснее. Особенности жнеца также совсем не командные, его главная обилка - сонарный рык, которым они в основном и ощущают мир (ты видел их глаза?). Жнец этим сонаром может спокойно распознать в другом жнеце призрачного Левиафана (хоть они и родственники).

They are essentially similar to moose, they were hanging out for something, and then they went to fight for the female, with their antlers (?). The Reapers themselves are deep-sea predators who have climbed higher to the volcano of the current game, where they have no competition. And the females stayed below because they are bigger and more dangerous. The characteristics of the reaper are also not at all commanding; their main feature is a sonar roar, with which they mainly sense the world (have you seen their eyes?). With this sonar, the Reaper can easily recognize the ghostly Leviathan in another Reaper (even though they are relatives). (Might not be 100% accurate translation)

Great tip, if you see a reaper leviathan stand still. They are blind but have great hearing. If you see one is near you wait for the right moment and sea glide away but it only works if you are near the blue zone. For example the aroura
