Jakob Nowell is absolutely spot on, to everything he said. Great interview! Excellent explanation of the True Sublime sound, feeling and message. So extremely grateful to him, Bud, Eric, Miguel and all of the people who contributed to making this monumental moment happen! I cannot wait to see them live and wish them all the success in the World 🌎 This is how you keep Sublime Music alive and no better person in the entire world to do it!!! How proud Bradley must be of his Son, Band Mates, Friends and the entire Sublime Family.

Was nervous this situation was going to seem forced/unnecessary, but so pleasantly surprised. Only he could pull this off.

I literally JUST came from the show in VA Beach... phenomenal. I grew up with Sublime, and I'm 44 now. My husband and I brought our 18yr old son with us & we all had a fantastic time!! Jakob you rocked it out. I'm so proud of you for rocking the hell outta VAB tonight. band was awesome the whole experience was great. I hope you guys keep it up. I love that you sound so much like your Dad &yet have your own flavor. Was an honor to watch ❤ you did what you came to do tonight & you honored your dad and his band n music, & you put such awesome energy into it. What a fantastic experience. 🎉

I was at point break festival and it was a great time. Jakob did amazing. Since Coachella even, he's improved so much more and Jake always seems to be improving and getting better at anything he does. He really is a talented guy like his pops.

@sublimeden I'm glad you got to go!! We did not make both nights only the night they played, we missed Stephen Marley but got to see Wiz and some of Pepper, and of course our dear Sublime. I know it had to have been difficult for him to decide to take over the band and I'm I'm sure it's quite a double edged sword...I'm sure it brings up the loss and also makes him happy as well, that he's onstage and performing. I feel like it was a very brave and honorable thing. I can't wait to see where it goes from here!!!! I just thought that show especially was awesome, we were like the old heads in there that knew every word to every song, and my son told me afterwards, damn...I've been listening to this my whole life and never knew who it was! He loved it too. I loved the mix of ppl, every race, color, gender....everyone got along and enjoyed it. Oh except for when this girl passed out from the flashing lights, they think she had a seizure. Were you around that? It happened almost right beside me

@@technicolorrose5549 I wasn't immediately around when that happened but I heard whispers of it and saw the paramedics searching for someone at some point so I bet that's what it was. If she came day 2 then she'd really have seizures because that was one hell of a light show with Rebelution.

@sublimeden I was disappointed we had to miss day 2. I bet that was awesome. Yeah that girl was about 2 ppl away from me on the right. Someone hit my arm and said this girl fell out and I started pushing over to her in case she was gonna need CPR & she was on the ground stretched out but her head was moving. Either seizure or too much partaking of things or both. It happened during the flashing lights. So who knows for sure. I pray she is okay. Great talking to you!
