We need to really appreciate how THIS became a happening... Eric and Bud back together with Sublime. Brad passed away aged 28. His son Jakob joins Sublime aged 28... This is like a movie with the happy ending we all deserved. I'm sure Brad and Lou Dog would be loving the REAL Reunion/Continuation of Sublime!

Its good to see the show go on but i hope Jacob makes his own legacy and doesnt have to stay in his fathers shadow his whole life. I hope he finds great success!!!

Santeria is going to be my funeral song haha! This is so uncanny hearing Bradleys voice coming through in Jakob - this is the best thing that has ever happened since he passed. I saw Rome a couple times in Aus/NZ but this is amazing. If you ever come to NZ I will be right there in the front row moshing like it's the 90s! So excited for you guys coming together to make some new Sublimeee magic 🪄

Whoever went to this is soooo lucky. Ya rome has mad style. Great voice. Powerful loud vocals. Jacob is prob a better fit obviously just for the shear sake it’s his son and it’s by all means a cover tribute band. Ppl don’t care if he doesn’t sound as “good” they’d rather see someone blood related. Just human nature. Like seeing one of Bob marleys sons perform his music rather than the best reggae vocalist. Now they just have to start putting out some originals !!

@@mrggonzalez3278 I was surprised by his performance (it wasn’t as good as I expected it to be). I have heard lots of his other live performances on KZread and he can sing way better than he did during this show. He can sing very much like his dad and has a strong voice. Maybe he was just nervous and / or overhyped. I think once he settles in this will be a great fit both musically and in terms of the family connection that is just 🎸😎inherently compelling. It just has to happen.

I've seen the original sublime live and they were terrible. You guys can judge him as much as you want, but his dad was not great live. Especially towards the end of their run. He's doing his best and as long as he isn't follow exactly in his dad's footsteps, he'll do great.

@@GeorgeKoroneos I actually saw them live too at the first ever warp tour in South Carolina. They were pretty decent but clearly under the influence and playing sloppy. To be clear, I think Jacob is an excellent singer and very similar to his dad. I only recently found out about him (a few months ago) and watched tones of stuff on KZread. His acoustic covers of sublime songs were perfect and was like Bradley came back to life. I was just surprised he didn’t quite sound as good at this particular show. I’m sure he will kill it in the future. I never listed to the rome stuff so I can’t speak to what that’s like, but having Jacob front sublime seems like an opportunity that just can’t me missed.
