Focus on one of the only couple metal label in the NW back in the 80s and early 90s - Subcore/Ever Rat Records owned by David Ulysses Portnow, a teenager who also managed bands and booked local shows. What were you doing in high school when he was running a business? Probably chasing girls (or guys for some of course) and partying like I was LOL. Dave was signing bands and working with Engima and Important putting out some classics by the ACCUSED, COVEN, LETHAL DOSE and others.
