Ruby Matthews (London Road SC) gewinnt mit 2-1 gegen Robert Green (TSPA White Star).
Ein Mitglied der SG' 94 Hannover hatte im November die Ehre in der Subbuteo Club League, der zweitgrößten Liga der Welt, mit Vereinen aus ganz England, Schottland, Wales und Irland, anzutreten.
Der irische Verein "Derry City Table Football Club" hatte den Hannoveraner Fred Elesbao eingeladen, sich für das Wochenende dem Team anzuschließen. Sie wählten Fred sogar zum Kapitän und er enttäuschte nicht. Fred konnte alle seine Einzelspiele gewinnen und half Derry damit, den 3. Platz in ihrer Division zu erreichen.
Ein besonderer Dank geht an Martinog Bradley für die Einladung und an Jason Christopher für seine Gastfreundschaft!

Old subbuteo much better than this stuff...this version has ridiculous formations and more like carrom, billiards or shuffleboard 😂
pity they cant play the original rules game and have real formations- 4-4-2 etc. this is nothing like real football

Peter Adolph copied newfooty so if anything subbuteo already hijacked the original. They're using formations that make sense in competition, if real football was played in turns by only moving one player at a time they would probably use the same formation 😂 BTW people were using this formation in the early 70s, so it's nothing new.
