I think you will find its the sensitivity of the microphone. Im on my third Subaru, all quiet on highways. Thank you.

@@oddities-whatnot They are loud as hell on the highway, specially above 130kmh ,compared to other cars it is the loudest i ever drove. And yes i also have my third Subaru.

@@ekimandersom4478 In the UK we have a 70mph speed limit, and even then I do less on motorways. Saves fuel, more relaxing and it doesnt make journeys any longer by any noticeable difference. No idea why you think the XV is noisy. Ive tested one and it was quiet, just like every other Subaru ive driven.

It's the CVT. Loud as hell is u pedal it. You need to be very gentle with CVT, never floor it.
