Yea i was gonna say that. He also rev-matches it into 1st at 2:28 which BLEW my mind as to both why and HOW he did that. I usually drive rwd cars and can tell u first would be silly but I was thinking maybe awd is different...

first gear is pretty much just to get the car rolling 2nd onward is where the funs at

AHHHHHH the whole donut scene hurt. Watch the shifter MOVE like crazy as the whole drivetrain bends and warps. Donuts and handbreak are a massive no no for that drivetrain as bulletproof as it is, thats the weakness!

It doesn't need handbrake so often. You can do what you want with throttle easily.

And then they say the Subaru is unreliable. So on each of your videos you drive a Subaru like it was stolen. So when it cracks, then we go spitting and tell us how Subaru engines are bad...i bet that 90% of oweners drive like this. Be real to yourself.

Thats very normal with sti , even brand new they do the same. I replaced all the transmission and engine mount and it didn’t totally fixed that issue when the car is under load . There was still a little movement

I got blizzak tires on my sti and I love driving it in the snow it literally drives as if it was summer but I can drift when I try

I have to say the editing in the beginning is ruined by the black bars covering the plate and not to mention during the edit it wasn't even covered lol

What the hell is wrong with the gearbox?! It has way too much play even when you don't launch it hard. That's some good driving, but that gearbox doesn't seem to handle it!

It’s the OEM Pitch stop , I have a 2019 STI and I notice that and didn’t like and that was the first thing I fixed , I replaced it with the Perrin pitch stop and brace . There is a noticeable difference the shift feels more precise , the clear shift doesn’t wobble during hard acceleration. The mount is solid and hold the engine power perfectly

@@operatorgaming1669 No prob! The WRX doesn’t have the driver control center differential, only the STI. In retrospect it sends more torque to the front or to the rear (and lock/unlock deferential) depending on what you set it to. This is a great option for different off road applications. Look up C/diff here on KZread and you’ll find some good footage that’ll explain it better than me☺️

You can prove that sti are reliable and great but durable like that? No car is. Why so much use of the handbrake? And why going in the rev limiter so much? Crazy that exactly how I will never drive my car. And can still do the same thing as you with premature wear

he probably need to rev it that hard to get enough performance since he fked the engine up already before this video... Im caring a lot about my engine and it NEVER see red (150HP Boxer Diesel Impreza @ 180 HP, DPF remove/EGR delete), maximum 3,5k at sporty driving and 4k if i really need all the power (barely if at all, it hurts, despite having nearly 1k rpm till red line) Mainly because i know Boxer Diesel are not very robust, my baby got already 110k km on it and the stock setup (so DPF, regs, EGR,....) fked up my engine already for 90k km... if it stands another 100k, im just fine and the Subaru was worth it

Yeah, if I want to go faster I also sometimes rev the engine to 5.5-6k rpm but for really small amount of time. When I reach these rpm I immediately shift up and I'm definitely not in those rpm longer than it's necessary, so that's usually 1-2 seconds. And I definitely don't rev it to red line. Hopefully, this isn't bad for car.

With all my respect to you, you have great driving skill for nice wather and autobahn, but for snow + Subaru ? your skill is average. Sorry, but you heave to come to Serbia in winter, I will drive you in my Impreza Hawkeye 2.0R 160ps better than in your STi. Roads here have 0,5 meter of snow, they are half narrower than roads in this video, and it is uphill so you don't need a lot of power, but you need great AWD and tires... Whoever drives a Subaru once, will always drive a Subaru... After all I enjoyed your video :)

Stop using the Ebrake and just mongy

The drifting in first gear is probably the worst driving I’ve ever seen in an STI at these speeds… I drive an N/A 08 Outback and I NEVER needed to drift it in first gear in the snow… there was more understeer in first than any other gears and you have NO wheel speed to keep a slide going without carelessly over-revving the car… with Subarus, you literally just tap the throttle, it brakes loose, and you drift the car. When you know how to drive these cars, drifting is effortless and takes hardly any throttle to maintain. It hurts to see how abusive and just plain incompetent this guy is driving his STI. Wouldn’t be surprised if that trans and drivetrain go out prematurely with this abuse.

Nice angle of view with cam but i mean you clearly dont know how to use your car. Why go in the rev limiter? So uselless and sad
