man that solid brass bushing makes a huge difference in shifts now!

I replaced my rear bushings last month. Had some serious slop going on. I ended up machining the bushing down on the lathe to make it fit for the smaller shift bushing. Ive been wanting to replace my intake boot, thanks for posting just ordered the last one !

@@OhKeiGarage slop is never good…in any application 😅

The bushing goes in from underneath with the flange at the bottom. 96 and newer you can replace that one and the one on the side of the trans with the same perrin or knockoff bushing

good looking out! i'll flip it over then! that makes a little more sense since the washer would sit on the non flanged side.

I thought it was 94 and newer but Kevins is a 95 and apparently has the small bushing.....

If you're using a K&N you ARE sucking in dirt. Stick with your factory filter (that goes for any vehicle). Check out The video from Project Farm on air filters.

not yet, i will have a a ron come over soon and have him 3D print us some.

What symptoms did you have before changing out the bushing?

this old one wasn't bad so not a whole lot of symptoms but having the now solid brass bushing back there makes the hugest difference in shifts. way more solid and feels more connected since there's no play in the bushing
