Hey! I've been watching for about a year now. I got a 2023 wrx and have loved watching your channel and modding my car for the first time but tradedy struck me last week, literally. A driver t boned me at an intersection directly on my driver's side door and rear door. My wrx and his car were both totaled. :( I suffered two broken ribs and some lacerations but I was hit at 55mph directly on my door and thats all the injuries I had. I COULD HAVE DIED. The police and medics were telling me how lucky I was and now that its been a week and I have looked at the car I can't help but feel like my wrx saved my life. Over the last year I've watched a tone of videos from alot of channels and don't see many videos that talk about how safe this vehicle is. Unfortunately there are no manual wrx's near me atm but after my experience it would feel wrong to get something else when this car saved my life. Just wanted to talk about just how safe it is.

I just watched some of the live stream this morning. Looks like we are still behind the Huckster overall but did have a faster time in one of the practice laps.

That car is beautiful. Ive been building a mod plan that will look a bit like it, minus all the stuff that makes it bad ass lol.

Love the body work on the Project Midnight.

Wish this was a destroked fa24, would have been awesome to see the potential. Destroked to 2.2

2.0L has a higher rev range and that’s good for track use if it’s built

ITs built with the 2.0 l for the high redline

Sort of disappointing they weren’t trying to do anything with fa24. So much for VSC “ pushing boundaries “

From what I have heard behind the scenes is they are, it's just not ready yet.

They have a format that works, their ej20 race motors have almost nothing in common with a road going ej, and the same will be true for the fa24.

Yeah, super cool car. I think the reason rally version has 2.0l is because of class restrictions.

That's for competing in rallycross or stage Rally. I don't believe goodwood events have any kind of engine or chassis restrictions. I think you're allowed to do pretty much whatever you want and then you're set in classes.

I admit I have not yet watched this whole video. But, why not use an EJ257 motor? And an STI 6 speed? It’s cool. But really? No ej257 and sti 6 speed tranny? Edit: after watching, does this car have all the STI goodies as well? LSD front and rear, brembos, c diff, suspension? I don’t get why they did it this way.

This is not a production car. It's a special racecar they made for the Good wood festival of speed. They use the EJ20 but I'm not sure what transmission. I imagine a sequential of some kind but we'll see soon.

But this car is only a project or gonna be for sale if is for sale I can save money for buy this beauty.??

They can make this but not an STI

EJ20 built by Vermont Sportscar, and the Huckster has stroked EJ.

It lost in the race but if we had alittle more horsepower it would of beat the ford

@@madracer54 I actually have phlyctenular karacovungtivitis lol. It's an absolute shit show. I have to take like 3-4 meds about 6 months out of the year. This year is the first time I have t gotten a refill so I'm kind of jacked up. I've had this for almost 2 decades and according to all the specialists it'll be like this tille I die 😭

VSC started to mess with an fa24 and threw it out the window and stayed with what they know.

VSC already makes their own motorsport engines. It makes no sense economically to use the FA24 and use two different engine platforms.

@Konformation07 that is correct. But they did atleast consider it at one point. There is a cast mold demo of one on display at VSC. But as I've said before, to much R n D into it already into the old stuff to start all over.
