Cissnei... That's a name I haven't heard since I was a kid playing FF Crisis Core on PSP. Never played FF7 (original or remake.) so I'm surprised to see her in this game.

The remakes are trying to compile as much of the side game material as possible, and it's really interesting. It's entirely possible that even Genesis could be referenced in some way

@@criticalhit69 That'd be so cool! I cried so hard at the ending of Crisis Core.. Too bad the remakes aren't on Xbox One, (especially since my PC is crap.) Hahaha! Such a good series though! I'm looking forward to the new content! ^_^

They honestly should've just added lalala or something. That's why the JP version is better because it basically captured how a bored person nonsensically sings and just thought out in the moment. The EN version is basically like a fleshed out song and that would've meant Yuffie was properly thinking of this song and not just out of boredom.

@@TheCactuar124 why though? its incorrect. imagine you're trying to learn the language and use this as an example and go around saying "ta ta ta ta ta" thinking you're saying "im so bored i have nothing to do" because it was translated incorrectly. Accuracy>Entertainment. they could've tranlsated it as "im so so so so so so bored, ma-ma-ma-materia, wait for me, wait for me!" she never once says anything close to "back on the road" and "make you mine".

By the way, does anyone know what happened to Cissnei after the Crisis Core incident? She's not dead, right?

No, she’s in this game. I think original crisis core suggested she died. But this game and the remaster didn’t kill her off.

The last time I saw Cissney was at the end of the Crisis Core story when she was told by Tseng to look for Zack's whereabouts before the scene where Zack would fight his final battle against the entire Shinra army. Previously, Cissney had also met Zack and intended to arrest Zack according to orders, even though Cissney was doubtful because perhaps Cissney actually liked Zack. Finally, after that, Cissney intended to help Zack escape by falsifying the report and giving her motorbike to Zack.

Final Fantasy localizations are always so cringe. They always muck around with the translation and it totally changes the feel of the characters. At least they give you the ability to play with the Japanese voices now, but I would like proper subtitles instead of dubtitles.
