Yeah my 2005 evo 8 with 56k miles all stock as well and its up in the 50k dollars. Not gonna sell it tho. My STi isint even full bolt ons yet, and still have all the stock parts so I can still go full stock and get 40k if im lucky and wait. Dont wanna sell it either. I just love the platforms and not many people can say they own a GD STi and a EVO… 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Your not entirely wrong. Depends on the build and owner. Ive owned this car for 8 years now on the same motor, stock turbo, and E85 with about 400hp. Ive beat the crap out of the car every year and still suprises me. I 100% trust the tune from my trusted tuner so ive had mostly nothing but good things to say about MY subaru build. Ive heard and seen it all from successful builds to absolute failures. I have an Evo 8 as well and ive heared all the bad and good as well. Just personal preference at the end of the day… race cars arent cheap no matter what it is. 😅🤙🏼

I actually have it at 5k, just to take it easy i do it a bit more agressive. I let the clutch slip while having the E-brake on. As soom as i feel it grab on i let off the e-brake. Tires are old so spinning will happen. I hit about 18psi when i launch it. The video is mostly for show and I know it can be a more consistent launch! Thanks bro! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

4500 on launch control is kinda to low try 5500 or 6k much more smoother for me

Yeah LMAO 🤣🤣 I'm a Subaru guy at heart such fun cars fully built I regret selling my old 03 wrx/sti hybrid bugeye wagon with simple setup 6spd/brake conversion swap, big top mount intercooler, FP Red 76HTA turbo, small external waste gate, nvidia 3" exhaust, 2.5l block with 2.0 heads chambered to it built and tuned at AWD tuning in flower mound Texas.

😂😂 no its the legit sound. Low RPM launch notbing crazy at all. It was a 5k rmp launch control. I can go higher, but just did to see how the logs looked. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I'd be very very mad at whoever did that if it was my car do that a few more times and you will have to replace the clutch

Yeah I usually launch the car at a slightly higher RPM. I have shorts of me drag racing it and hooking hard. Just did a fast lowish rpm launch for the camera. 🤙🏼
