As MK11 Kuai Liang said in his ending, he literally had to scour everything about his brother in order to find out just what Bi-Han's deal was in order for him to become actually good. Liu Kang certainly didn't like to fully manipulate someone's life but something tells me Kuai Liang had a point there that there's no easy solution for Bi-Han.

yeah because quan chi stripped him of all his moral traits and only left the bad ones and his skill intact, he was basically a shell of his former self. Now before people would bring up that i think it was shinnok or quan chi who noted that bi-han had darkness in his soul. But that's the same for every character in the game, infact when quan chi took control of all the souls of earth realm champions all of them turned evil and despite quan chi becoming a vegetable via scorpion. They still continued to be evil. Because being a revanent is not exactly like a robot you would still go on even if your master is dead but that isn't really you. This is actually the first time that bi han was more of a dck and i presume will become evil in the next installment. @@SojuStay

Yep, now with this new course of action. Kuai Liang and Tomas would eventually escaped and travlled to Japan to meet a family friend. That he will become the founder of the new clan and Earthrealm's new defenders - The Shirai Ryu. In this new era (Liu Kang's domain).

Especially since this change in character goes all the way back to mk2. But to just have the subzero mantle die completely would be wild. Frost as subzero would be disrespectful af. I honestly think it’s absurd that they made kuai liang scorpion instead of Hanzo. Kui liang should have been smoke and Hanzo should have been the adopted Japanese brother. Meanwhile, they literally had to get Cristina Vee (Shantae in the Shantae Series, Noel Vermillion in BlazBlue, Bennett and Xingqiu in Genshin Impact, Tulin in The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, and various other Anime and Game roles) to record all of Nitara’s in-game battle grunts and screams, when she herself was the better choice for Nitara than Megan.

As other said it is the first Mortal Kombat of this new timeline created by Liu Kang. Everyone in this new timeline now are at their starting point in Main story development. Some are only now finding and developing their fighting styles (Kung Lao and Raiden only just obtained and discovered their iconic fighting style in this game as examples) while certain events begin in this game that will lead to long term rivalry or becoming enemies with each that we are familiar with from the previous timeline but with some alterations due to the changes in the New Timeline.
