I learned more in these 12 minutes than all the time pressing my nose into the installation instructions from Sub-Zero. Thanks, John!!

I’m a handy man and tv installer. Got curious about how they do paneling for these Sub Zero fridges and found your video. Excellent explanation on your measurements

Excellent tutorial- thank you. One thing that I am curious about is that Sub Zero specifies a 1/2 inch reveal on all sides of the panels, yet it appears that your reveals are less. Is this the case? I would prefer a smaller reveal and wonder how small you can go.

You mention using dry erase board for the spacer. What kind of wood do you use for the backer? The sub zero specs indicate the weight of the door should not exceed 50 pounds but the door alone is 45 pounds (without the spacer and backer).

Is your backer panel an actual 1/4” or closer to 3/16”? I’m trying to build my own panels and I’m having a hard time finding actual 1/4” anywhere and I don’t want it to be loose if 3/16” (normal 1/4” plywood) will be loose.

Great video.. we have had poblem's with everyone of these we have installed.I personaly think it's bullshit to charge 20k + for an appliance that cant supply the customer or installer with the correct imformation.

can you just use the inset 1/4 panel itself instead of adding the overlay cabinet panel? I can hit a specialty plywood store and grab some in wood of choice. Prob use danish oil or maybe paint. cant see why not?

Would you mind posting the tape measure make and model that is in this video? Thank you in advance. Beautiful work, by the way.

What is a "BI" panel??? Since I don't know what a "BI" is, NOTHING else you say makes any sense to me.
