He is absolutely right. I went to a bar recently and I just felt like I was a kid who snuck out of the house and into a bar. That high school thingy got me I was like that too myself when I was in 6th standard I really became a mess becuz I was transferred into a new school and from there till high school I had literally 5 friends who weren't the actual friends they use to mess with me and make fun and becuz of this my confidence level decreased alot being scared to be alone I use to hang out with them my whole personality from a hyperactive talkative kid went to a depressed teenager. Luckily I changed my school after high school and got some decent friends and decided to work on my personality I am still learning but now I am not depressed anymore just shy and thanks to my friends who helped me.

@snoop I actually agree with that to an extent, but sometimes there are lines to fill. Like sometimes you want to leave it up to the reader/listener to interpret it, sometimes you'll have a specific meaning in mind, but there will also be times you'll think of a line that just sounds really cool so you'll add it in.

When he says “but that’s alright” it sounds so good

I always thought the message of the song was people struggling with smoking or weed because of him saying he lives in his own world (being high) fire surrounding him (smoke being all around him) seeing the world through black and white (smoke blocking his vision) and he mentions having a hard time breathing a couple of times (his lungs are failing). sorry for any bad english still learning

As someone who has had a very very messed up childhood, I feel that either this artist is very emotionally intelligent and knows the perfect set of words to describe the feeling of neglect in a way that is relatable Or he's holding back on sharing the severity of his experiences, which I would not blame him for Either way I see this song as genuine art. :)

Thanks for this video and especially the song💜 this gave me the same vibes as radioheads "how to disappear completely" i had cptsd and did, i have healed well from both of those thanks many years of therapy💜 theres so much disinformation about did... but these songs really can make people realize how it is to live with dissociation even if songs ofc dont explain the reasons or how psychologhy work but its understandable because its not the meaning of songs. Art is all about expression and feeling💜
