Welcome Daehakro Festival is on again this year too. They will show several performances for free here on KZread during October, with subtitles available in English, Japanese and Chinese. So even if your Korean is not at a high enough level to understand everything, you can still watch and enjoy the shows.

제가 사는 나라에서 이런 연극이 없어서 실망이에요 ㅠㅠ 어느 알에 한국에 오면 꼭 한번이라도 연극을 볼래요!! 이 팟캐스트를 만들어줘서 감사함니다! 혼자 운전할때 들어서 외롭지 않고 재밌었어요🤍

와 신기하다 제가 한국에서 처음 본 연극이 바로 였어요. 그때 한국에 온지 6개월 밖에 안 됐는데 한국 친구가 대학로에 데려가서 봤어요.

Those plays do sound like a lot of fun, much different than the Broadway musical I saw a few weeks ago. We'll see how much Korean I can learn between now and when I visit next year to see if I could at least understand the majority of what is going on, but I don't think I'll quite be there yet. But now I have a goal for the future to go see one someday

It's really good to have a goal!! I'm going to Japan next month, too, and I'm currently studying Japanese to be able to speak even just one more word while I'm there. Let's stay committed to our goals! The play emphasizes accurate pronunciation and expressive facial gestures, so I believe that if you put in the effort to study diligently, you'll definitely be able to grasp it to some extent 🔥

@didikoreanpocast good luck with your studies for that! I bet you can get more than one word between now and then. Hope you have plenty of time there, my recent trip to Japan was far too short, luckily we had more time in Korea

저는 뮤지컬을 정말 좋아해요. 전동석이라는 배우의 팬이에요. 연극이나 오페라 보는 것도 좋아해요.
