"master caution here i believe that works" after flying this thing for 2 mins i can say with confidence that it does indeed work

At 7:45 it's overall amount of fuel in kilograms. So it says you have 3730kg of fuel left, not seconds of flight.

3:03 In a real aircraft the markers are plastic clips, they clip onto the outer ring of the instrument and you can slide them around that ring to mark any speed you like - so V1, Rotate and V2 for take off etc.

I wish I had mastered the Frog before buying almost every DLC aircraft. There is something about its simplicity, ease of use/operation and honest handling qualities that I ❤️

Guys I need help please, Idk how people get the mouse thing, like I cant click any parts of my aircraft and I don't have the cross mouse thing u can move

The baro is adjustable. Check the control map. That being said, it is best to keep the baro at 760. If you don't it messes up the autopilot. If you set the pressure high and engage level flight or any function that is dependant on baro pressure, the plane will not level off, but will climb to a higher altitude, then level off. The higher your baro adjustment, the higher you climb. I leave it to the student to figure out what happens with low baro adjustments.

HPC is (since it's actually cyrillic) NRS. Google-Fu let's me guess it's неуправляемая ракетная система (which would by unguided rocket system)

The last time I challenged the dcs, I burned the engine while taxiing on the ground. I have to watch the video and try again.

After downloading the English cockpit mod and buying a set of Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs I think I'll finally give it a go :D

7:10 fuel gauges - if I remember correctly, left one tells you fuel amount in inner tanks, right - in external. If no externals mounted, displays same level, but it should(irl) display on only one. Number is fuel in kg, not distance. You can see 0 hard-written on the right, so if dial reads 001 it’s 0010kg fuel 8:34 two left are hydraulic system pressure, two right are for brake system pressure. Really important to see your hydraulics leaking early on. I check them after every encounter with gun-AAs and close missile hits. If you need any help translating Russian cockpits and documentation, feel free to hmu. I’m Russian, but I am fluent in English, avid aerogeek and a long time fan of yours.

8:31 There has been an English cockpit on the DCS site since 2014. It's great, he also did one for Su25A

QFE is configurable in all FC3 aircrafts, SU-25T included.

Right side indicators for the hydraulics is wheel brake.

People say its trash, its actually one of the best SEAD planes in the game

on of the best CAS yes... but SEAD you can achieve some missions, but definitely is not one of the best.

@@paladincubano It is easly better at SEAD than anything we have in game because of its very good missiles and a large quantity of them which can overwhelm an s300 sam site all on its own. For cas i'd much rather use smth like an f18 because of its better flir camera and F&F maverick missiles.

The Su-25T model is controlled from the keyboard, like G for Landing Gears, F for Flaps, W for wheel brakes and so on. The interface elements are not clickable.

@Mechanick Yes, but you cannot control the buttons, etc in the virtual cockpit with the mouse. That is only working for the full interface aircraft models. For the Su-25T and the Flaming Cliffs models, you can only use the keyboard or keybinds on the joystick/throttle.

I opened a discussion on the steam forum with the same question. It seems that the T.16000M FCS Hotas is the best value for money in its price range. Almost all of them have advised against the X52 which costs more or less the same. Otherwise if you just want to try it, with a simple gamepad the situation improves, but obviously a hotas is necessary if you want to play seriously.

@@maurognani8208 You know what, the idea of connecting a gamepad didn't even occur to me as you can apparently connect PS4 and XB1 controllers via steam. But sure, I'll look into that joystick you mentioned. Thank you and much appreciated.

@@TH33QUALIZ3R Well, at least you have the chance to see if you like the game or not. I managed to do much of the SU-25T tutorials with the Pad. Surely it is much better than mouse and keyboard. I used a wired Nacon for ps4. You have to set many buttons, but it's a matter of few minutes.

I've done my first DCS-flights with a Logitech Extreme 3D pro. They go for around € 50,- to € 60,- where i live (NL). It is half the price than Thrustmaster's T.16000M, but the sensors are tiny plastic potentiometers, so they will wear out in several years. I believe the T.16000M however has a hall-effect sensor for 16-bit resolution (= as accurate as the Warthog Hotas), and it comes with it's separate throttle with in turn plenty of switches on that. On the 3D Pro you only got a tiny swivel. My vote: go for Thrustmaster's 16000.

@@rubylight I used the Extreme 3D pro i already had to start, First bought a TrackIR, Then bought warthog throttle, followed by pedals from croatia ( MFG crosswind ), and finally replaced the stick with the warthog one. wife bought me a htc vive for christmas so i've set the trackIR aside, though dogfighting was better with the trackIR as its easier to look behind with it than a VR headset.

Trololol. You can change HUD to English without my mod. Because my mod has nothing to do with English HUD. Go to "Options" page, from "Avionics" pull-down menu.

Madoka Kaname synonym is what you call words that have the same meaning. Synonymous (yeah, I originally misspelled it) is an adjective you use to describe words that have the same meaning. Both words exist and are valid... Just like Centigrade and Celsius!

Synonym would be a word that nearly means the same thing (but possibly not exactly the same thing). Interchangeable would be a far better description. EDIT: Celsius and Centigrade are actually synonymous with Fahrenheit as they both measure temperature and at high levels it doesn't make much difference relatively (your house burns down at 1000C or 1832F, who cares because your house is still burning down at either). But Celsius and Centigrade are interchangeable because they refer to the exact same thing.

I just started playing DCS. I can do all of the things that come before moving the plane, all that stuff is fine. But I just can't figure out how to move to plane (I play on laptop). So, if anyone could help/do me a favor in the comments, please tell me how to move to plane, I have been getting kind of mad at this too. This is my favorite game to watch on KZread, and if I can get the plane to move/fly, it could possibly be my favorite game to play. But like I said, for anyone who can help me how to move the plane in the comments, or just tell me what buttons to press to make the plane move, that would be a huge favor. Maybe someone who plays on laptop could help me in the comments. But @Grim Reaper or anyone who could help me know/learn how to move to plane and get to flying would be great. I have watched so many videos on how to move/fly the plane, but I just can't get the plane to move. So, someone here in the comments, please someone just tell me the controls for keyboard and mouse players/Me how to move the plane, I could watch how to fly it, but can someone please explain to me on how to move the plane. Thank You.
