I completely agree with a soft/slow life being chic! My dream is to have a house outside the city where I get to bake bread, take hikes, and have a garden. Then shoot into the city for a museum visit, shopping day, or night out at a jazz club and stay at my city apt! Ahhhh how chic!☺️ Have a great week friend❤️☺️

Nothing is wrong with 💉 loosing weight is hard! I looked into it myself! I will 100% try it if I could get my hands on it! So you didn’t “break down” you took action sis! My biggest struggle right now is protein! 😩 I’m dying to drop these last pounds!

Good morning. Ok so wallet is now in first gear 🤣 I loved those red trousers as well. Nordstrom sales are a must. I am on a French learning journey as well. I use Babbel. My husband and I watch tons of French murder or crime mysteries series like Candice Renoir to reinforce what I am learning. Now I know how to say I didn’t kill whoever brilliantly 😂 I was born in St Maarten, Dutch side and my mom is from Anguilla. Hope you have a brilliant time there❤

Welcome back, hope you and the family had a great time in the city. As far as the Nordstrom sale I’m only purchasing “ Home Sale” items. It’s gets to a point where it’s all the same every year . Everyone selects basically the same clothing items etc. Two years ago I started purchasing their towels . They are simply wonderful !It’s so soft and has held up nicely. Le Creuset pan dutch oven is also on my list . So basically home items. I’m just kinda over the hype of the Nordstrom sale. ( I do think though the perfume sets are a good buy ; essentially for Christmas gifts). 😊 I’m so impressed you’re teaching yourself French! That’s great! I should have learned French by now since my husband comes from a French speaking country. I need a spanking right! 😂thanks for mentioning it. I’m going to force him to speak only French in the house . Have a great week❤

Funny Face (& Breakfast At Tiffany's) are my favprite Audrey Hepburn movies and two of my favorite fashion movies. For language learning, i agree learning vocabulary (especially nouns and verbs) help. Those will help you form basic sentences. Also, learn basic conversation (part of your small talk to a native-language speaker...and asking where is the bathroom, the store, the train/taxi/taxi, bus). Plus, learn numbers up to 100 and money terms. Depending on the language, you may see some terminology more important to learn first. Also, study a song in that language (that you like). This way, you learn the vocabulary, practice how to sing the song. After a while, you see that your song has taught you a little of verb/subject conjugation and sentence structure. Those are some of the ways a Native Korean tutor had taught me...of ways to leatn a cross-section of a new language.

@simplykura You are welcome! My fellow student and I liked the Korean Drama (k-drama) "Boys Over Flowers" and there was this pretty song featured throughout the series. That was the song we brought to the teacher...to ask him about. Our teacher (a Latin-degreed Native Korean speaker) also taught us a South Korean national symbolic song (think like our "This Land is Your Land" or "God Bless America")...but was a Korean song everyone learned as a kid. So, we started learning that song: the words, what the theme of the song was, & how to write the lyrics. His other idea also was to learn introduction-small talk...your name, if married or single, kids or not, your hometown, where you live now, and what type of work that you do. He said those were good conversation starters to help you speak to someone in their language. All those tips taught us proper pronunciation, gave us new vocabulary words, and helped us to analyze sentence structure. At your local library, are there French preschool kid-learning books? They often teach beginning words and sentences. Like how we first learned English as kids...and then we advanced to higher scholastic books in stages. Some use language-comics, too. Same concept to help beginning language learners. Good luck!!! Have fun!❤️

I have the T3 flat iron and I highly recommend it! It goes up to 410 degrees which is the max temperature I use on my hair. I’m a straight natural with heat trained hair and my curls are still in tact. Hope this helps! ❤

I’ve been surprisingly into black and white this summer. I’m typically a jewel tone color girl, but neutrals have been it for me this summer. My “uniform” always includes lipstick and eyeliner/mascara only, so that’s how I feel like myself. I do like the Nordstrom sale, but only plan to buy 1-2 things for my kids for back to school 😂♥️

I’ve been a Nordstrom ‘girlie’ since high school. I’ve shopped the sale ever since it started. My wishlists, (yes plural 😏) are full of items. But I do try to whittle them down as time to shop gets closer. I use to shop in store, but i found I spend a lot more if I do. Or it seems that way. 😅 I do shop several times over the month though, so am I really spending more and telling myself that I’m not? 😂
