Supportive bra! Make sure your bra fits well. Yes, gravity takes over but we can make sure our bras aren't all stretched out and the straps are adjusted appropriately especially if they slipped in the wash. Not saying we need pushup bras or even underwire. Just make sure you are wearing the correct size adjusted appropriately. Also something we should invest a little more in. I'm on a definite budget but I'm thinking I need to start spending a little more. I'm a 36D or DD. I don't want them down by my elbows.

Thank you ladies. A great video. Always wanted to look younger . Am 66 years young and going strong .

The best dresser I know is a woman who is, I believe 82. She always looks actually cool, but effortless. She wears simple clothes (think cashmere tunic sweater and skinny jeans) that look like great quality and that fit her well. Her shoes are basic styles, but I’m pretty sure they’re mostly European because there’s always some tiny elevated detail. And her hair cut in a snow white pixie cut…I could go on and on. I’m 50 and I want to look like her when I grow up.

It's so funny how style changes. Back in the 80s I was mixing casual with dressy & feminine with classic or masculine because it just worked for me. One night I was going out & I wanted to be comfortable so I wore a high neck white "Victorian" lace blouse with a cropped black bolero jacket & very torn Levis worn with black high heeled boots ( I wore the jeans over the tall boots & had lace tights underneath for modesty since the jeans had holes thru the knees & seat) My mom said my outfit "didn't go together." I also wore combat boots or high tops with dresses a lot since I'm not great in heels & walked a lot. I got a lot of unsolicited opinions on my ensembles quite often(both positive & negative). Now everyone is styling this way lol. I was worried it might be too young for me now since it's something I was doing when in my 20s. Happy to know it isn't :)

Thanks for the video. This is very helpful. I am probably older than many of your viewers, but I really find these tips important and have been incorporating many of them. I have recently shed many t shirts with the clingy cotton stretch fabric. I would love for you to focus a tutorial on dressing to "minimize" a larger bust and older neck (I am 67 and really need to be careful with roll neck sweaters...I want to wear them, but some styles don't look great anymore)

Funny story. I finally got up my nerve to do the front tuck on a top and thought it looked great. My husband, who rarely pays attention to my outfits said, “did you know your shirt is half tucked in.” I told him him “it’s the style.” He just kind of looked at me like really. Oh well, maybe I’ll show him this video. 😂❤

I do wear cotton jersey Tees that are closer fitting under a sweater or cardigan I'm not going to remove or as a cold weather layer under a chunky sweater! I find that a lot of winter sweaters are itchy and I need a barrier between my skin and it. Of course, you Florida girls don't have that problem! All other suggestions were spot on!

I enjoyed that you mentioned reading glasses. That's one of the underestimated items, that is never mentioned in other videos.

Yes, dressing 10 years younger and youthful is a better subject title because actually looking 10 years younger can be hard to pull off. With the cotton jersey tops, as long as they are not too tight, and have a little drape, they are great for layering because they don't add bulk. I think they can work well with a shacket for some of us with a little too much in the middle...Thanks, ladies for all the suggestions!

Another great video! Not wearing jersey or tight tops was such an outstanding tip.! While I was out shopping I noticed so many women of different ages wearing jersey tops that were too tight. I don't think they realized that this was not a good choice. I will keep this in mind and realize that a soft fabric but not tight will really look so much better!

If your viewers and Kelly are frequently reaching for over the counter readers I encourage you to get an eye exam and have custom glasses made for you. There is a huge difference when the lenses of you glasses do the work with custom measurements and your eyes don't have to.

I am so over the neutral tones. Now that I’m working at a very casual work place I am incorporating color back in. I mean color Bright pinks, blues, greens. I am gravitating more to blouses to wear with jeans. so I can wear nice shoes or nice sneakers. I wear glasses on a day to day so every year I update them. I’ve had tortashell with red, blue, black, purple. Lobbed to always see what you ladies are wearing!

I’m looking toward retirement, and since I’m living in Florida, I’ll be wearing cotton and shorts much of the year. I’m having to re-learn how to shop, ignoring slinky fabrics and office wear. I’m trying to focus on plain cotton t shirts (good quality) and casual pants that will transition for me. I definitely need to up my game in the shoe department. I love the ones you showed.

I can relate! I am 56 now but when I hit my mid forties, I remember being confused on what to wear. I felt like the clothes at the time were either marketed to teenagers or old ladies and I was not sure what to do. I remember wishing someone would come up with a line that hit that in between market! I stick to neutrals now with classic shapes and a pop of whatever colors are trending for the season. That has been working for me.

Great tips, Ladies! I don't try to look younger, I just try to look good. I'm happy at 58, especially being a Mom of 6 and Grandma of 5 and hopefully, many more. Do I look modern? Not especially, but I do make an effort to dress well.

Thank u for great tips! I especially like how to mix the jewelry! I am a matchy matchy gal and now I will definitely try to get away from that. My problem is shoes...I have problem feet from wearing the wrong shoes. Ex. Bunions. (Be careful ladies) Just had surgery to fix one foot. I'm hoping when I get better I can find some pretty shoes to wear. But now I will look for arch support and a rounded toes not pointed.

Hi; like the sharing a channel by friends - neat dynamic; but where is the wine? It’s allowed to sip on you tube? How about reflecting on style be guided more by body type than age? Our selections can either make for a trimmer appearance or bulky and frumpy at any age. My major regret is that I didn’t hang on to some of my fashion from my 20’s and 30’s because I bought quality fabric and classics. There are very few stores that merchandise - if any - based on age - just women department. There are sections that provide selections for plus sizes, petites and juniors ( I can still fit into some juniors - but because I need length don’t go there.) Also a lot of women wear styles based more on occupation and work environment than the age factor. ✨MJ WeTHIN

First, I want to say how beautiful you both look! Thank you for the ways to make your outfits look cool without looking like you're really just not getting it. I felt that way in the '90s. It was awful. Looking back, I cringe. I just didn't like what was "in" and I couldn't make it work with my style. I love what we have going on these days for the most part, except for the shoes. I love the chunky boots, but the chunky flats...meh. And the ballerina shoes just do nothing for me. I have admittedly just gotten a swift kick in the rear about my cheaters and I appreciate it. I truly do. I am now on the hunt! I hadn't paid attention to the fact that even though I was only pulling them out of my purse to look at small print, I must look 10 yrs. older than need be. I always get something useful from you both!

They can just be a bit harsh & cut you off at the leg giving a frumpy look. Instead opt for a light tan, white or nude colored shoe. It will really elongate the legs & not draw all of the attention to the feet.

I really like your videos, but I’m a bit confused by ‘avoid cotton jersey’. Most of the related pictures you showed were jersey, but not cotton - at least not 100% cotton. Almost all of my tees are cotton jersey, but are not tight fitting. Should I stop wearing my cotton tees?

No, definitely did not mean to imply that you should get rid of your tshirts. We are referring to that clingy, stretchy jersey fabric that you often see in tunics & leggings. It sticks to the body & shows every lump & bump.

I recently bought a loose asymmetrical top but it has a large floral print. It’s a good quality item& I thought it looked nice and colourful when I bought it now I m wondering if it’s dated looking🥴😕🙄

That’s a tricky one but for the most part- yes. Or if you have a dress or something with strappy black heels but chunky black shoes up against a lighter pair of pants can definitely it off the legs & make us look a bit frumpy & older.

What about animal prints? I saw another KZreadr say that small animal prints are out larger ones are in. That seems to contradict what you all are saying. I am a petite person and tend to go with smaller prints anyway

Current is great until one realizes that "current" tends to be on younger women. It's hard to find examples of fashion on older women before we buy. Does simple mean classic? I have that part down.

I, myself, think the very short sundresses do look like you are wearing your daughters' dresses and trying too hard. I wish the makers would just give us an extra inch or two!

Cotton jersey is the very stretchy fabric like the ones used in athletic workout wear. Very clingy

@@MommiesMakeupAndMoscato Not necessarily. Please check your sources. Jersey can be very stretchy as you say, and it always has some stretch, but it varies. Many t-shirts are indeed made from jersey, including the white one you showed immediately after pronouncing them as bad.

Athletic wear is usually made of clingy, skin tight fabric. Cotton or cotton blend jersey tees can fit many ways and drape in a flattering manner.
