Those tan boots could so work with a miniskirt! I think a frilly sock would make it look purposeful and hide the top of the boot if you don’t want to see it.

Ok ok ok.. i had never heard of the black and navy and brown color rules until i moved to the east coast from hippy Northern California and was deeply perplexed. Also, as a professional painter/illustrator I think that rule makes no sense and just sounds old school. Honestly too matchy matchy (in my opinion) looks worse and feels too on the nose. I think that outfit was cute af!!
