Before filming this video I firstly washed conditioned and blow dried my hair. I could not film the beginning stages because of storage issues.

What do you use to prevent your hair from drying when using the straightner? Can I use moisturizer first or that'll cause it to be oily?

Hi Katlego, please don’t use moisturisers rather get a heat protective serum or heat protective spray. You can get the ORS heat protective serum and also the Afri Tru heat protective serum at clicks

Thank you 🙏🏾. Hair treatments and protective hairstyles help. I keep my hair in a protective hairstyle during winter and only do heat styling in Spring and Summer. Also your scalp speaks to you the happier your scalp the happier your hair. So sooth the scalp

Also avoid wearing a protective hairstyle for more than 3 weeks at a time, wearing a protective hairstyle for long can also damage your hair, especially your hairline
