In this video I wanted to show you that when you only have two plates that are the same and you want to style them up with your other plain white dishes or whatever color you have, it's pretty simple to just pull the color from the patterned plates to create a pretty little tablescape.
In this video I set the table for four but you could definitely add two more white plates on the other end and have a setting for six. For napkins, they don't have to match exactly either, as you can see, I picked up on the green stem of the flower on the plate and added green glasses and a cute little flowered napkin tucked into each glass.
Everything doesn't have to match exactly. I love using different wine glasses whenever I set the table as sometimes it just makes it less formal and everyone can relax a bit more too. I hope this inspires you to have fun next time your setting your table.
