I personally think that black cropped trousers with white shoes makes your legs look short, even if the white shoes matches your outfit. If you want to elongate your legs, wear similar colors on the trousers and shoes. Those green shades are beautiful, though.

🎉 Loved the video and meeting Kerry. Just missed seeing more of you Diana. Do you ever style women over 70? We are somewhat invisible to the fashion market and society in general. Most women fail to update their wardrobe as they mature and even take the simple steps to make it more comfortable and even colorful, but more striking. There is a movie in United States coming out this month with 4 (Four) 80 year old starlets and looking at promo posters - one has to think 80 doesn’t have to be old and dingy - these stars are for sure nothing but Vibrant. I hope she will agree to model. I’ve told you before perhaps, I’ll be 75 in May. I can’t believe it. Life is short and I am only learning about styling now.

I liked everything but the pants in the first look. The crop length black against the bright white made her legs look shorter. I would go for a full length pant personally to maximize the appearance of long legs.

I have been watching your videos and loving them so far. I found this video fascinating as I am also pear-shaped and enjoyed seeing Kerry being transformed. I like the colours used here. Absolutely gorgeous! I like that you also shopped for budget friendly pieces. Really appreciated this!

Hi there, great video! Where is the shearling coat from?

What I find most flattering, having a pear shaped body myself are: fit and flair dresses with wider neckline and extra attention to the shoulders, e.g. by more ballooning sleeves or a little cap widening the shoulders… secondly, high-waisted wide leg pants without any pleats or details (especially not side pockets!), and lighter / brighter tops with boatneck or square neckline. What I find most unflattering: boot cut trousers that flare out, trousers with pleats and side pockets (that open), big square, wide tops, also trenchcoats don’t look good.

This is lovely! Everything she wore was perfect for her and her silhouette. The colors look wonderful on her. I have a challenging body type; small shoulders; large breast a bit wide waist and small/straight hips. My butt is also somewhat flat, AND I am 5’1”. Hopefully, you will have someone with my type of shape in one of your fabulous videos.

Holy moly this video hit home for me. Pear shaped and no understanding of how to dress my body shape for under5ft

Sometimes I feel that you have to have certain body shape, to really understand what it is to have it. I am pear shaped, with hips. :) I think that longer blazer, that is well tailored and hides the hip area is a godsend. It does wonders to the figure. Most of the blazers available are too short and the bigger hips are still on show. Not flattering at all. The lovely model here, looks so much better with the longer coat on, than without. My perfect blazer/cardigan length is the one that finishes at the tips of my fingers.

Nice video. But look 6 creates a horizontal line right at her widest part of her pear shape with the jacket. It doesn’t balance her figure.

It’s actually the shoulders measurements we take into consideration when defining body shape. If your hips and shoulders are the same, you have a well balanced figure.

Oh, my. Sorry but I disagree with some of these outfit choices. The first few looks do nothing for the client's figure. Rather, they obliterate her shape. OTOH, the dresses are just a tad too short & show too much thigh - especially from the rear view. There's something undignified in cutting a dress almost to the booty on a grown woman. I watch your videos because I love your style, and I realize tastes differ but I am pair shaped and I wouldn't dress myself this way. I go for more figure skimming clothing especially on top, while showing less flesh.

Her body reminds me of my own -- long torso and a high rise. I think those leather pants should have a higher rise on her so that they hit at her natural waist. They are looking more mid-rise on her. My own opinion, she still looks amazing and the clothes are beautiful!

I always watch your videos and almost always agree with all your styling tips. . But in my opinion some if not most of the outfits Kerry is wearing are cutting her legs making her look short. The different color shoes make you focus on the feet and where the pants stop and she looks short. Also the mini dresses are very short for her, makes her legs look thicker and not to mention she is a mother, not appropriate for someone with children. I am sorry, but i feel like you dressed her as if it was your body type. .
