Yes!!! Absolutely include more of fixing mistakes!!! Your viewers are most likely to have mistakes they threw out... Thank you 😊 ❤🎉
I always try to correct errors even on paintings that will be binned as soon as I am done. The more confidence I get that I can fix something, the bolder it makes me and frees up a lot more experimentation and choice. I will watch as many of these as you produce! Thank you for your thoughts and guidance on this.

Although your mistakes can be annoying to you, I actually like to see that even accomplished artists like yourself make mistakes. Showing us how to fix them is a big bonus!

That first fix and addition was really amazing, and the hollyhocks also turned out amazing. I loved seeing how you fixed these things, it is so helpful, yes I would love to see more of these on your real paintings with real mistakes. Thank you.

Hi Michele, I'm really enjoying these videos. It's great to see unintentional mistakes rectified and seeing how you create your own paintings. It would be great to see more, but whatever the subject is, I always learn from you. Thank you.😊
Great idea. The tips teaches us so much. We learn from our mistakes but, when we see the teacher make a mistake & how she/he remedies it we learn too. My opinion is you remedied your pictures with deftness! They now look great! You certainly can paint lovely floral paintings! Would like to see more mistakes cured! I think it’s good that you as an experienced teacher & artist own up to being human , making mistakes it encourages us all. Thanks.

Please do include the mistakes as you film you teaching videos. So many people leave those out but they are part of the reality of painting. Your mindset may be my biggest “take-away” from this excellent video. Don’t panic; maybe it can be incorporated into the painting (the hollyhock worked perfectly!!) or think-if it needs correcting, is now the time, or wait until all is dry? Thank you so much!

Ha ha thank you 😁
You know how gossamer spider webbing can just float through the air? Well, I think paint spatters can do the same thing. I'll be working on an area and look down somewhere else and see an unrelated color spatter has mysteriously appeared. No idea how or when it happened or where it came from. Feels like I spend equal amounts of time problem-solving as I do making actual progress with the painting. oy!
So helpful!👍🏻😍
This was so useful, thank you! I haven’t used wood pulp or cotton and wood pulp mixed paper for my paintings in a while, but I think it’s probably easier to correct errors on 100% cotton paper.

Wonderful!
Wow! What great catches! I never would have seen the mistakes! My mistakes ruin the whole painting! I need to see more of the blending of lines. And dropping paint brush and getting smudges of dark colors where light colors belong. I try to remove and the paper gets overworked:( Thank you for your tutorials!,

@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber correcting mistakes videos are always going to win. A video I like is painting eyes 👀. If you get the eyes right the rest is easy and small mistakes are forgiven.
My paintings are always very dark, how do I avoid this?
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber
Ай бұрын
Most people have the opposite problem :-) Working light to dark, and swatching a colour before using can help, remember to let it dry too as they lighten.
Great tips! Thank you
