Then laugh at the Guards, everything is funny until the horse bits them and really hurts a body part. If they can’t understand English then there is an app on your phone that when you take a picture of the sign it translates into there language not hard to do. In the USA we are taught from very young to ask the owner if we can approach an animal. Ask if we can pet. We are use to seeing working or service animals amongst us. Most of us know or assume the royal horses are highly trained working animals just like we have in our big cities. They are not pets. They should not be disturb while on duty. I wish people would do their homework before they travel to learn the etiquette of the country they are visiting. I wish your tour guides would educate their group how to behave at the locations they are visiting.

The horses have to get used to the crowd.......they are on parade in LONDON and should be ready for any kind of instructions etc .... some tourists bring a snack and the horses are smelling each person..... Don't make out these magnificent animals are stupid or enjoy boredom!!!

There is a lovely place down in one of the southern counties called Haremere Hall and they breed and show english working horses there. You are not allowed to touch the horses at all.And that is how it should be here at horseguards.

They tend to forget they are working and not just there f0r ,any of these ignorant people that thinks it there right to do what they do if the horse bites that's their fault for not reading g what is stated on the wall horses have feeling s also and don't liked to be pulled around

I enjoy watching the left hand of the guard. He knows how to make the horse bite and not bite. People are stupid to go and watch that operation which is just for making money for the retailers in the area. The king is rarely there or in need of guarding. If anyone wanted him gone, they have people for that too. If people stopped gawking there would be no guards or horses. Just little plaques and left over back packs. History.
