Stupid Simple Coolant System
I unbox, assemble and test the Stupid Simple Tools Lube-Cube coolant system. This coolant system is "an HVLP fogless coolant sprayer that delivers a precisely targeted spray to the cutter and work piece without finely atomizing toxic coolants - substantially reducing coolant waste, lubrication over-spray, and hazardous coolant fogs that contaminate workplace breathing air." Hey Kimber, indeed it was great meeting you! Hopefully I'll see you next year.
Hi Mick. I spent many years at ICI oil refinaries. We fitted many air & liquid hydraulic fitting. You always need sealant on taper fittings. We used the PTFE you are using mainly. Where the were high temperatures we had to use loctite. Steve.

It's from a company called Trim. I added a link to it in the description. I don't know how well it works yet.
Believe if a person put their mind to it, they could build one and isn't going to be no where near the over priced thing there!

Given the quality of the parts, particularly the coolant tank and the mixer/spray assembly, I think it would be very difficult to make one for $165. Not to mention the time and effort. In fact I'm thinking about buying another one for the lathe.
what coolant did you use
