This is actually rare in local trains in every suburb in India. Daily passenger used to jump on the wrong side of the track which is very busy. High speed tracks are always full of high speed crossings. This can led to fatal But no options

This is one of the big problems with high speed trains in India. When the train passes by at stations we will see people crossing the tracks. With train speeds now on the rise this will take many more lives. Imagine a 200 kmph train passing by and people trying to cross the tracks just before that?

They work hard thats all fine. If they really need to see the next day they need to follow rules and b safe. They simply can't break a Red signal on road saying they are in a rush or working hard. Common sense need not be taught in school.

This only proves the point on why India is listed as one of the most dangerous railways.

Imagine if India got a third rail system on all of its tracks

Such a dangerous exit point. One slip and your gone. An exit onto an active train track with a speeding train coming. What could go wrong. Life is cheap in India.

Not a passengers fault. There should be a metal fence in between the two tracks at least station area. If the fence is there passengers will not go and jump like this. Passengers need to get down on the left side of the station and use overhead steps to go other side. If no fence, passengers will do like that again dangerously. So many safety measures need to be taken from the station authorities.

I think IR should just make it policy, anyone killed while on the tracks illegally is not their responsibility and the train will continue to run, not stop. It sounds harsh but only when a few people die will the public understand.
